If Tammy doesn't hit 20 this season that means he will only score 6 (or less) more goals in the next 25 or so games (could be more if we go deeper in the FA Cup and CL.) Even if you are talking 20 league goals, a failure there to hit 20 means he scores 8 (or quite possibly less) in the next 21 EPL games. IF those scenarios happen, forget top 7 (unless we somehow buy an ace striker in January who benches Tammy and/or a monster winger)

i do not think we have the offensive players atm other than Tammy and Pulisic and maybe Mount (who is pants lately) for this offensive football. Willian, Pedro, Barkley, Bats, Giroud, and unfortunately an atm still-damaged CHO are simply not capable as of right now. RLC remains out . Hopefully we bring in somebody in January.

31 goals, 12 assists in his last 3600 minutes of play. 55 and 22 in his last roughly 6800 (basically a full season and a half to 2/3rds) Not quite to Aguero numbers (68 and 19 in his last 6800 minutes) But still not shabby. And he is only 22. Aguero was not scoring like that at 22.

I would take Gabriel Jesus in a heartbeat

Dortmund would be his best play, great team and weak at striker

actual and projected updated sales revenue £135m Hazard £9m Ola Aina £8m Kalas £8m Luiz £8m Hector £5m Omeruo £30m Bakayoko £35m AC £30m Bats £50m Morata £25m Alonso £40m Zouma £10m Moses £10m Zappacosta £10m Drinkwater £25m Willian (if we renew him and sell) £10m Baba £7m Lewis Baker £7m Juan Castillo £13m Mario Pašalić £8m Jake Clarke-Salter £10m Kenedy £5m Matt Miazga £2m Richard Nartey £5m Charly Musonda £5m Lucas Piazón £5m Danilo Pantic £8 Izzy Brown £5m Marco van Ginkel (when fully fit, and he is going to renew) £20m Azpi £3m Jay Dasilva £4m Kasey Palmer £25m Barkely £5m Pedro £5m Giroud that is £590m quid in gross sale revenue alone (and we have LOST well close to £300m in potential valuations the last 2, 3 years due to fucked up sales and non sales and horrid contractual management or we could have had well over 3/4 of a BILLION quid total sales revenue) many of those sales are already DONE (and the right numbers added in) subtract out £25m (for the Kovacic buy minus incoming cumulative loan revenue) that is bloody still well over HALF A BILLION POUNDS STERLING (£565m) in net sales/spend revenue we have generated and will generate since summer 2019 and then beyond finally assume I am £50m off (to the bad, and my numbers are conservative for the potential sales yet to be done) that still leaves £515m so as long as we finish off selling the dregs (and even earning £50m less that I came up with) we can drop £300m (January and summer 2020 combined) and still turn roughly a £215m (transfer/loan revenue only) net profit or so and all that does not include a possible (unlikely atm) summer 2020 Kante sale (which kicks all the numbers up by £100 to £120m or so) nor did I include an Emerson sale (which I only see happening if we buy both Telles and Chilwell, which I would do, as an Emerson sale almost covers Telles' cost (Telles being a vast upgrade over Emerson) and we NEED Chilwell)

I am going to wait to deliver my final judgement until after the summer window but if we cock up January and then summer, and make other horrid moves (renewals of dregs and non sales, etc) we are deffo headed into a downward spiral other than Pulisc, atm we are fucked at winger unless CHO truly recovers (which, as much as some will poutrage over, is NOT guaranteed) we are well and truly fucked at fullback if Reece goes down, the other 3 are either pure dregs, semi dregs, or rapidly ageing and soon completely shot at top 4 competitive level on a consistent basis we are fucked at DMF if we refuse to correctly use Kante (who turns 30yo next season as well) our defence is FUCKED up because we get so overrun in MF and at the back and lack the quick breakup/turnover play we have feasted off of got the last 15 years on balance IF RLC doesn't recover to sufficient level (a possibility) and Mount doesn't pan out, we are fucked at AMF, and TBH, we so lack creativity overall anyway Other than Rudiger, we are hoping for potentiality at CB (Tomori and atm no one else), as Zouma and AC are simply never going to be true Chels quality If Tammy goes down, we are WELL and truly fucked atm at CF (and yet some rant on that we can never have 2 class CF's, which is fucking madness and the path to doom) finally, Kepa had best pull his head out of his arse

even the numpty board cannot envision him as a true number 9 answer

I want Werner, even if we have to wait till summer Håland is my 2nd choice Jovic (on a loan with option to buy) third after that who the hell knows
-
I have not felt more doom before a yids match in my life, TBH. I am terrified tHat if we drop out of the top 4, we never get back, and the knock-on effects from that will be horrendous for the summer window.

so predictable I said it over and over never buy wingers not named Messi or CR7 that old especially ones who have beaten on like Eden has for years

Chelsea: Frank Lampard’s best path forward may require a step back https://theprideoflondon.com/2019/12/18/chelsea-frank-lampards-best-path-forward-may-require-step-back/ Chelsea has had a rough few weeks since returning from break. To stop the rot, Frank Lampard may need to retreat to an old set up. In preseason, Frank Lampard played around with a few different formations with the same basic tenants. High, aggressive pressing led to fast vertical attacks. If the ball was lost while trying to attack, the numbers were already there to press. If the press succeeded, it was easier to move the ball forward in the chaos. The issue was when the press failed. A year and a half of management is not much to make a sweeping judgement about Frank Lampard’s style, but the defensive side of things is where he lags behind. The press does most of the work and often does well, but if it is beaten, a high line is left to rely on individuals doing something great rather than a set up shielding the goal. Lampard already had this issue before, but earlier in the season he had more goal scorers to at least push Chelsea along. Since they have all dried up bar Tammy Abraham, the results have dipped. Lampard solved the issue last time by taking a step back briefly. That worked in the short term to allow the winning streak in the long term. Something similar is needed again. Following the return from the first international break this season, two changes were made. The first was the switch to a 3-4-3. That was largely injury enforced but also served to better shield Chelsea from the crosses that were tearing the Blues apart. The second was a deeper defensive line but that only tells part of the story. snip

Ex-Premier League striker Neil Shipperley sentenced for public masturbation https://www.espn.co.uk/football/english-premier-league/story/4016228/ Former Premier League striker Neil Shipperley has been given a 12-month community order after he masturbated in front of a mother and her 16-year-old daughter. Shipperley, 45, admitted on Wednesday to exposing his genitals inside his van while he drove alongside the pair in Hillingdon, west London in September. The mother said she was "disgusted" by the sight. The former Chelsea and Crystal Palace forward has been ordered to complete 20 days of rehabilitation by Uxbridge Magistrates' Court. Shipperley is reported to have to have sought counselling for personal issues, including the death of his father, gambling problems and debts. He made 150 Premier League appearances during spells at Southampton, Chelsea, Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forrest.
