  2. 3. I went back and corrected it all and acknowledged that the article (and that was the only time I ever got into his pay before) incorrectly framed it as his net pay. His gross pay is 20.8m euros per year. That breaks down to £363m PW. I think that destroys our wage structure, but if Roman and the board can make it work (and avoid player mutinies), more power to them. I also think that Oblak (who already once flat-out turned us down, in summer 2018) is going to be very hard to convince. I am sorry for all the misunderstanding that came from it. I never should have tried to extrapolate off that one article. I simply went off the history of Spanish salaries being quoted in net pay terms (Like the AS article itself did). I do not understand why they do that so often, as the gross pay is far more important to transfers and club underlying financials.
  4. you think we have defensive issues only 4 teams have scored more goals than QPR and yet they have a negative 10 GD as only 2 teams have allowed more
  5. West Brom do have to beat QPR, a draw still tosses them into the play offs 95% likely
  6. what a bottle job and my baggie mate is already texting me, lololol
  7. all Brentford needed was a draw and odds were SO high they would go through as 2nd as they play the worst team in the league on the final day
  8. omg, missed the tying goal by 3 or 4 inches
  9. Stoke are horrid, boring thugs, they make Burnley look like 2010-11 Barca
  10. nothing like watching a Czech low rez stream of a turgid championship game in mid July to warm one's soul
  11. The only thing Kante is for sure long term is on and off and back on the injured list. Go get Declan Rice Rice and play him in a double 6 with Kante and I am good tactically, but I have to say, his constant injuries worry the fuck out of me. And if Lampard goes back to ramming him in as a RMF in a 3 man mid, I and going to lose my mind. Lampard probably cost us an EASY third (or even 2nd) place by jacking Kante into the side when he came back. It fucking killed our seasonal momentum.
  12. Said Benrahma Ollie Watkins both are starting
  13. Stoke City v Brentford http://www.hesgoal.com/news/64358/Stoke_City_vs_Brentford.html
  14. Busquets is near being done at anything remotely top WC level, he is now 32yo and plays at times like he is 35+, and was pretty shit almost every time I saw him play lately I used to rate the fuck out of him, it is a bit depressing when great players start to drop off a cliff just like Marcelo, who insanely made the FIFA All World XI first team,(but even worse was the year before when 35yo Dani Alves was named to the first team, 6 months before he was released on a free and sent packing back to the shit leagues in Brasil) roflmaooo, Marcelo was a bench rider most of this season and already even the year before to a far higher degree than he ever was before at RM other than his first half year there back in 2006/07 Marcelo: yep that just screams all planet first team to me!
  15. Inter is my favourite non EPL team (plus AIK here in Stockholm, but Swedish football is minor leagues compared to the Big 5) and he has not had the greatest year, but a back 3 Conte system doesn't suit as much as a normal 2 CB partnership with more traditional fullbacks he is not a make or break CB for me, but is an acceptable WC or near WC target he wont end up here anyway I think Pep wants him I wold be happy with de Vrij or Nikola Milenkovic or Lukas Klostermann (2 of the 3 by next summer would be immense, although this is the last year I recco buying de Vrij, as he is 28, so then I would add Edmond Tapsoba to the list) plus if we get Rice, we can always work him in there too if needed https://www.whoscored.com/Players/302918/Show/Milan-Skriniar
  16. that reddit rando was using this this is a faulty database of salaries and it had Koke Vegas the GK listed with Koké the Atleti MF's salary the rando never had full access to Capology or he would have shown it from the site, not give a link that shows blocked data he just took a faulty document making the social media rounds and did a FUD troll move also you keep saying that you cannot believe Oblak is making that when you YOURSELF posted the article that shows he is (its within your article's range) smdh someone went in and just erased the salary for Koko Vegas but left his name there also that salary listed is the OLD salary for both De Gea and Oblak, as they renewed in 2019 for the 2019-20 season with HUGE raises (they are both paid basically the same, De Gea is on £375K PW, Oblak on £363K PW at cuurent exchange rates) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/18eFUrgZCiJhkrS3hiNB7W1rxXaU7hVjWtW662KSY4Y0/edit#gid=1863090231
  17. sure, use some rando off reddit whose own link doesn't show what he claims to try and do another FUD post you can believe what you want, but even your own link (AS) from before puts Oblak at 10m to 12m euros per year NET lets take the middle number €11m per year net that is £10m per year The top tax bracket in Spain is 45% for 2020 this is from KPMG, the 4th biggest accounting firm in the world https://home.kpmg/xx/en/home/insights/2011/12/spain-income-tax.html if €11m is 55% of his gross salary, the his gross salary is €20m multiple major sources say his gross salary is €20.8m that puts his net (at the 45% tax bracket) at €11.44m which is between €10 and 12m per year (so within the range your own article states) €20,8m in pounds is £18.91m per year (at current FOREX rates) or £363,653 per week in gross wages you can chose to believe that or not it is taking your own article and showing that the numbers fit within its construct btw Capology is a paid subscription service that clubs and big media outlets subscribe to the corporate sub rates are https://capology.com/pricing/teams/#soccer for non corporate, the rates are https://capology.com/pricing/subscriptions/
  18. Ampadu is a physical wreck still out with major back issues
  19. IF the choice is what you laid out (wish you had listed the acceptable CB's) I would take Oblak (insane salary alert) Skriniar (it gets dicey if we start to talking about CB's not named Skriniar, Romagnoli, Giménez, Marquinhos, Verane de Ligt, or even Stefan de Vrij), and Partey (or Rice over Partey) over Havertz alllllllll day but those are all massive pulls, some damn near impossible AND we still need a LB no matter what here is my total nightmare we blow CL and then we do this: we barely liquidate the dregs, including Emerson, we also fail selling Jorginho, and Barkley, etc etc Marina digs in hard and will not sell at what is being offered at all no new LB at all (Leicester refuses to come down on Chilwell and they have CL and we do not, plus, even though I do NOT want Chilwell, we also fail on the other 5 options) Pope or worse GK Ake CB (as we refuse to spend on an actual WC CB) we sell Zouma and NOT AC first we try to buy, but fail on Rice (and Partey goes to Arse or some other EPL club) and we fail on Havertz
  20. there are so many ways we can get fucked we lose to dippers, so 63 points Spuds BEAT Leicester so 62 Manure beat WH so 65 IF we are getting hammered by HT v Wolves and Leicester and manure are drawn at HT massive incentive for them to draw as well as Manure gets 66 , so even get 3rd is we come back to win, on GD and Leicester end on 63, and take us out on GD as long as we lose v Wolves also if Leicester draw v spuds its even more likely, as even a draw by us, as long as they draw v manure, puts us both on 64, and still Manure 3rd, Leicester 4th if we draw versus Victimpool, then Manure is not safe with just a draw, as we could end up on 67 and if they draw, they would be on 66, and if Leicester wins v spuds, and draws v Manure, they may likely knock out MANURE on GD, as if Leicester win by one v spuds, they are +4 over manure, and Manure would HAVE to win by 5 or more v West hams, as if they are even on GD and draw, Leicester still goes through, as they would have more goals scored (if they score 1, +5 over manure, so if manure wins by 5 nil, then its a plaoff if they draw with Leicester, but odds are very low Leicester wins 1 nil (if they win they will score at least 2), nor can Manure win 5 nil, West Ham are not THAT shit. I would actually LOVE to end on 67 and have those end tied on 66, tied on GD and tied on goals scored so a playoff, lolol as that will fuck with manure in the EL and Leicester will be basically almost fully fit by then plus the sheer drama knowing our asses are already safe in 3rd if we beat Liverpool and draw with wolves, it is the exact same thing, as we still have 67 obviously the best play is us on 69 and slam the door then they can still bash the hell out of each other and nothing matters to us but much easier if Spuds win especially if we draw or win v the dippers as then they cannot play for draw at all as Leicester would end on 63 and we would have 64 at worst (66 at best) no matter what we do v Wolves
  21. yes, they are globally supported and get massive revenues, they were tracking to almost €400m net revenues this fiscal year until COVID hit for fiscal year 2018-19 they had €367.6m https://www.statista.com/statistics/271581/revenue-of-soccer-clubs-worldwide/ 68K capacity brand new modern stadium helps La Liga signed new telly deals for this season as well and La Liga Distributes €1.4B In TV Money; Barcelona And 17 Other Teams Receive Record Payouts https://www.forbes.com/sites/bobbymcmahon/2019/12/15/la-liga-distributes-14b-in-tv-money-barcelona-and-17-other-teams-receive-record-payouts/#7e4813c727ab and now this La Liga ditches three-year cap on TV rights contracts to pursue long-term deals https://www.sportspromedia.com/news/la-liga-extended-2022-23-tv-rights-contracts snip The move could very well see La Liga replicate the Premier League, English soccer’s top-flight, which secured a landmark six-year, UK£2.3 billion (US$2.5 billion) rights deal in February with Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT).
  22. Costa is on £273K PW, lol robbery still NOTHING like Bale insanity reigns at Real

  24. Morata now passed up Oblak, lol £382K PW https://www.capology.com/club/atletico-madrid/salaries/
  25. I corrected it, his gross is £363K PW, the table had the correct salary (20.8m euros per year) but it called it net, when it was gross I just went back and sorted out a lot of posts sorry for the inconvenience it still is a massive amount
