  1. so much for that the worlds best all-round RB (Kimmich) is back at his original position and CHO is on the right wing anyway, so goes up against the worlds best LB, lol (Alphonso Davies, who is faster than CHO)
  2. 2019-20 UEFA Champions League, Round of 16 Bayern Munich v Chelsea http://www.sportnews.to/sports/2020/champions-league-bay-vs-chel-s1/ https://www.totalsportek.com/bayern-munich/
  3. the defence will still be addressed missing out on Havertz would be a long term disaster from both ends, both us, and then the fact he strengthens the hell out of a direct rival for EPL and/or CL glory
  4. you cannot go by Transfermarkt atm, as they are slowly updating their COVID-19 across the board devaluations those rises are almost all due to a simple update, NOT for quality of play sake
  5. sadly so, and after next season ends, and the summer 2021/January 2022 windows close, off the list he goes, as I will never recco a 29yo and up non-GK as a principal target after this summer and January 2021 windows, a good chunk of my recs come off as well (and some will come off due to sales) no more Alaba,,Sime Vrsaljko, Tagliafico (and tbh, he is last on the acceptable list, but is still an upgrade), Stefan de Vrij, Dunk, Savic (tbh, off already), Alex Sandro (off already), KK (off already), Sergi Roberto, Casemiro, Thiago, Remo Freuler, Koke, Jonas Hofmann, Thomas Delaney, Matías Vecino, Philippe Coutinho, Isco, James Rodríguez (off already, unless he came on a free), Sadio Mané, Mo Salah, Bobby Firmino, Heung-min Son, Pablo Sarabia, Antoine Griezmann, Raúl Jiménez, Wissam Ben Yedder, Rodrigo, and Wout Weghorst none will be on a summer 2021 list (and some nver were really on any list) all will be (or are already) too old to buy for the money demanded,
  6. fair enough, £35m is at least something back its still going to be a cumulative loss of over £400m at the end of the day on deals (not just players from that date onward) starting in 2016/17, when shit buys, shit contractual management, turned down sales, mistimed sale, etc are all tallied up.even count all proceeds from all the loan fees of all the players involved on the big list, and also subtracting out the few decent sales. And that £400m plus net loss was including reduced but still decent (some barely, lolol) sales prices for some that will NEVER happen now, like Baka, Bats, Drinkwater, Emerson, Alonso, Moses, etc etc etc etc
  7. Pele vs Maradona Diego Maradona and Pele are inarguably two of the great players in the history of the game. But they also have an eternal rivalry, punctuated by arguments and bitterness, and sustained by ego and vanity. In this video, James Montague charts the chronology of their unique, decades-long relationship.
  8. that was a winter window piss take valuation by BHO, I think £25m to £30m (35m max, due to his age) would work, or toss in a turd from our fancy big turd collection for makeweight (although our turds come with back-and-bank-breaking salaries for minnows like BHO)
  9. we will never get most of those prices Other than Zouma), plus that list doesn't count turned down offers that were higher €40m in loan fees sounds a bit high (not at all saying it is not possible) would love to see a detailed listing
  10. he is nothing special at all victimpool and few others have him on their radar as a pure backup squad player (the dippers have zero LB options other than Robertson, other than sliding over the ancient mariner and out of position Milner) and now that he just played against Wolves he is the flavour of the minute if he is the level of our ambition at LB, we are in trouble there indeed he is the exact size (1.78m) and is 7 months older (born May 12, 1996) than both Chilwell and Sergio Reguilón he is also far less quality than either he would be fine as the new Emerson (backup only) as he is very cheap and not complete dogshit, but if he is being looked at as our long term starter, then HARD PASS
  11. my 'hundreds of millions shit away' massively detailed posts (that multiple people scoffed at despite them being basic simple addition/subtraction maths) look better and better as each month goes by
  12. Dunga types used to be common. This video is sooooo Italian, the heavy metal song to start it off, lolol (official Inter too) Colosso
  13. Maicon now we are talking that is my type of brutal bulldozer right back (would LOVE to have him and Ashley as 22yo fullbacks on our side as our FB pair!) ahh, the good old Inter days, sigh (hopefully they keep improving, and get a good manager to replace Conte if he walks) what the hell happened to HARD Brasilians?? almost all now are pussytklaat
  14. Juve trash bin (might be others they sell too, but all these below are dregs, Ramsey is a nightmare as he is on over £400K PW!!) Gianluigi Buffon (43 in January is why) Carlo Pinsoglio Daniele Rugani <<<< thank fuck we never bought him Danilo Aaron Ramsey <<<< LOLOLOL Blaise Matuidi (great player, but 34 in April, he is done) Sami Khedira <<<< just like Kepa, he never recovered after Lena Gercke, dumped his cheating arse Simone Muratore Marko Pjaca Marco Olivieri Douglas Costa <<< one of the biggest assholes in euro footie Juan Cuadrado Gonzalo Higuaín
  15. overall, I totally agree, but Varane is hardly 'not world class' after one shit game. That was my point. I have followed him since he was at Lens, He first came onto my radar in the winter window of 2011. He was pretty much, even at 17 and 18yo, clearly the only quality player on a dreadful side that got relegated. He could play CB, DMF, and sweeper. RM clearly saw this, and swooped in for him summer of 2011. The rest is history. Vidic and Puyol and Rio and Maldini all had howler games over the course of their careers. Shit happens. Is Varane the equal to peak Ramos? No, but not many were, and Ramos is 35yo in March. Time marches on for all humans. IF we were ever going to make a move for Varane, now is the last (or near last, as he turns 28 in April, and after that (next summer) he goes off my board due to age, just like KK did) and best shot. The best time to buy assets is when they are perceived to be at a low, weak point. Buy low, sell high. The housing market in the US, for instance, is off the chain, even with the horrid COVID-19 decimation of their economy, as informed wealth knows bargains.
  16. Really have to question your definition of world class. If Varane is not world class, no one is. He has been a magnificent CB for ages, and dominated at the WC with no Ramos.
  17. lol, they were hyped up like they just signed Gattuso or Stefan Effenberg when they signed dogshit Mohamed Elneny in the winter 2016 window banter club a bit of an aside Effenberg had the mullet of a god back in the day
  18. Friday August 7 2020 Football Nerd Should a Premier League club move for Philippe Coutinho this transfer window? By Daniel Zeqiri Philippe Coutinho has always divided opinion. Fans see a sparky attacking midfielder with an eye for the spectacular while critics see a wasteful player whose highlight reel fails to compensate for numerous ineffective games. The Brazilian has been linked with a move back to the Premier League in this transfer window and could be in action when Bayern Munich face Chelsea in the Champions League on Saturday. Coutinho's standing in European football has plummeted since a £142 million from Liverpool to Barcelona, where he struggled to make an impact and lost confidence. A loan spell at German champions Bayern Munich offered him a chance to restore some credibility, and Coutinho has delivered some promising statistical output despite limited game time. I analyse those impressive underlying numbers here and ponder what it means for his future.
  19. not so happy, he wanted Marco Rose, or Ralf Rangnick
  20. fixed, and nice to see we will end up making around £5m or so on two of them at the end of the day (almost £3m for Nathan, and a cut of Pantic's next sale)
  21. I have watched him inmasive depth for ages and that was by far the worst game I have ever seen him have it was like it was not even him he has been an utterly superb CB for just ages he looked worse than AC tonight btw way, as you know I am of the opinion that Rudiger is by far our best CB, and whilst he has a rough post injury spell for months, he will recover his form AC (pussyklaat) and Zouma (agility and ball skills of a drunken hippo) are both pure shite and will never be effective Chels CB's IMHO
  22. I still think Bayern take them out their back 4 are too brittle against that massive firepower
