  5. Alan Shearer issues five-word verdict on Conor Gallagher after Chelsea loanee stars for Palace Blues loanee Conor Gallagher scored his first Crystal Palace goals in Saturday's 2-2 draw with West Ham United at the London Stadium as Patrick Vieira's side picked up a point https://www.football.london/Chelsea-fc/news/shearer-gallagher-Chelsea-crystal-palace-21439000 Conor Gallagher officially announced himself as a Crystal Palace player on Saturday afternoon in the Eagles' 2-2 draw with West Ham United. The 21-year-old, who joined Palace on a season-long loan deal earlier this summer, scored a brace for the south London club, as Patrick Vieira's side earned a draw against the Hammers. Gallagher spent last season on loan at West Brom, and there were suggestions that the midfielder could return to Chelsea and compete for a place in Thomas Tuchel's team. However, Gallagher decided to make another loan move and he has enjoyed a fine start at Selhurst Park. Now, Alan Shearer has spoken about Gallagher and his impressive display against West Ham, and the former Newcastle United striker thinks the Blues ace is improving all the time. "With two well-taken goals against an in-form Hammers side, the impressive Gallagher showed he is going from strength to strength," Shearer wrote on the Premier League's official website Eagles manager Vieira, when speaking about Gallagher following Saturday's draw, mentioned how he saw both sides of the midfielder's game at the London Stadium. "He has the ability to remain calm in the box, he's a really good finisher," the former Arsenal captain said to the media on Saturday. "He has a lot of energy and works hard for the team. When he's in this kind of situation he scores goals. "Conor had a good loan last year. He did well. He's a player who needs to play week in and week out and coming to us was a smart move for him. "We will give him time to keep playing and keep performing. Today he showed a lot of quality on both sides of the game."
  6. they have wrong fee for Lukaku too I did sort that in my calculations
  7. good catch and when I was looking at them earlier they are all fucked up atm on so many teams
  8. Romano said on a podcast that the board and Tuchel are NOT convinced on Aurélien Tchouaméni as of this summer, they want to see another year of top level play before they dump the dosh out for him I will defer to them on that I do think they are obsessed with Rice, for better or worse, and now the HUGE psychological barrier (dunmpug out damn near 100m for a player we gave up on) has been breach with Big Rom I just hope they go for bloody Barella next summer I will DIE if he ends up at Manure or Pool or Citeh he is (based off 3 full years now watching him) the next Kante-ish type disruptor, and he is a big game player, a proven winner would take him over any other CMF/DMF (Pedri is more an AMF/CMF hybrid Iniesta type) on the planet, except for the impossible (probably the most impossible to buy in terms of prising him away) Kimmich, and I can see Barella equalling Kimmich in a year or two or so, Even Barella over Frenkie de Jong for me ( I'm sure many will disagree) top MFers (all positions) at ths exact minute (not to buy, just pure talent and play at thsi exact point in time) De Bruyne Kante Kimmich Pedri (will likely be top in a few years) Barella de Jong coming soon to it Bellingham, what a fucking baller
  9. 70-75% Saul comes Marina is on good terms with AM and I think we get the €40m (£34m) mandatory buy clause reduced to €35ish (£30m) he is still only 26, just a year and a half or so removed from being a top 3 or 4 CMF on planet compare than to the top CMFs on planet MV now he is over 6 ft tall (1.84m) can play LWB, or in a pinch RWB (he is a left footer bordering on being ambipedal, so not lefty-only like Alonso) and is a dogged defender when he is in the mood (Tuchel will light a fire under his arse I predict, if he comes) he is MILES beyond all our CMF's, (not counting Kante and & Jorgi as CMF's) save for Mount (who plays more at AMF and winger anyway now) and Kovacic (Saul is more of a goal threat than Kova as well) up until last year he was on a 7, 8 goal per year, 4, 5 assist per year run for 5 straight ´years
  10. makes absolute sense for both teams Messi at PSG buried Sarabia as 3th or 4th option and he is a class player who can flourish at AM plus with Mbappe deal off it helps PSG to at least cash in on some as they just said fuck you to RM on €190m (180 + 10 addies), lolol <<< balls of brass move
  11. chalk Camavinga off the board ffs Real gets him (better them that Manure, so at least that is good) only £26.5m + small small add-ons done deal
  12. Atletico Madrid demand clause in Chelsea’s deal to sign Saul Niguez https://metro.co.uk/2021/08/30/atletico-madrid-demand-clause-in-Chelsea-deal-to-sign-saul-niguez-15176823/ Atletico Madrid are demanding a compulsory £34 million purchase clause from Chelsea as part of their deal to sign Saul Niguez, according to reports. Chelsea have held talks with Atletico over the possibility of signing the Spain international before Tuesday’s transfer deadline. Atletico are open to allowing Saul to leave the club, while Chelsea have faced competition from Manchester United as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is also keen to strengthen his options in central midfield before the window closes. Goal report that Chelsea are looking to secure an initial loan deal for Saul, but the Champions League holders are reluctant to agree to Atletico’s request to make the move permanent for £34m at the end of the season. Chelsea are looking to strike a similar deal to the one they agreed with Real Madrid for Mateo Kovacic in 2018 as they initially signed the Croatian midfielder on loan before deciding to make the transfer permanent for £40m the following summer. Atletico are also refusing to let Saul leave unless a replacement is signed before the deadline.
  13. I am not convinced. I resigned myself to his coming when Trevoh arose. I am sure there are games where Jules would excel in, but I shudder at the thought of him in a back 2 versus EPL bomb o' matic deluges of 'crossing to the beast CF(s)' wars. Thiago Silva (who is still 4 or 5 cm taller anyway) he ain't IMHO.
  14. Kounde is soon 23. No chance we are rocking a 32, 33yo dwarf CB 9 or 10 years from now.
  15. Kepa himself is not unusually short at all, height wise. Plenty of good or great keepers now and in history within 2 to 3 cms either way. What is indeed abnormal are his short ass ARMS. It is a horrid problem far too often. At least his confidence is back.
  16. We have zero traditional cruncher DMF's on the side. We have only 2 players who can even be called some type of DMF, granted both of them are Ballon d'Or level players atm IF they are healthy, which one now is not. We only have one true CMF, Kova, plus Mount, who often is at AMF or wing. With Kante down, that means we only have 3 acceptable MF players who can play CMF/DMF. Are we so stupid we are going roll with that and then (OMG) actually keep one or more of the 3 dregs? FFS it is not acceptable to have to resort to any of Drinkwater (utter dogshit, insane he is still here), RLC (perma wrecked from the Achilles, I have seen zero that gives me the slightest bit of confidence) or the massive underachiever Barkley.
  17. I do not think he is linking the two. Just saying that Saul is the other deal to watch.
  18. They are so duncey that they post an article, that other than the lie that we offered only £42m and insinuated we insulted Sevilla, THEN actually does confirm the money amounts that all the reliable Chels journos are saying. They fucking moved the goal posts from €70m to €85m which is £12.8m more, what all the reliable journos said.
  19. That proves fuckall. Obviously there was no agreement.
  20. Fuck you Get the fuck off our board
  21. Marca? Sod off If you actually believe that shite you are even more stupidy (yes, that is Bajan) than I thought
