  1. yep, plus we lost a game for the first time ever in history to Real Madrid (and at home!) bizarre season all round, as we also won the last trophy we were missing (FWCC) and won the Super Cup for the first time under Roman
  2. 2021-22 English Premier League Newcastle United Liverpool https://www.sportnews.to/sports/2022/premier-league-newcastle-united-vs-liverpool-s1/ https://www.totalsportek.com/football/newcastle-to-play-liverpool/
  3. yikes he is turning down around £300K PW (gross, how we report wages in the EPL) I can make a pretty good guess at what he wants 400K euros PW gross (£336K PW) or maybe even more, say up into the £350/375K PW range that is a shedload of cash for a winger not named Mbappe or Salah (and Salah turns 30yo in few weeks)
  4. Ratcliffe's 20 billion loss (from around 30 billion usd around 10bn usd) in 11 months is NOT normal Covid crash? Not for the billionaires of the planet. They gained 5 TRILLION usd in net worth just since the start of the COVID pandemic up until mid January 2022 Ten richest men double their fortunes in pandemic while incomes of 99 percent of humanity fall https://www.oxfam.org/en/press-releases/ten-richest-men-double-their-fortunes-pandemic-while-incomes-99-percent-humanity New billionaire minted every 26 hours, as inequality contributes to the death of one person every four seconds The world’s ten richest men more than doubled their fortunes from $700 billion to $1.5 trillion —at a rate of $15,000 per second or $1.3 billion a day— during the first two years of a pandemic that has seen the incomes of 99 percent of humanity fall and over 160 million more people forced into poverty. “If these ten men were to lose 99.999 percent of their wealth tomorrow, they would still be richer than 99 percent of all the people on this planet,” said Oxfam International’s Executive Director Gabriela Bucher. “They now have six times more wealth than the poorest 3.1 billion people.” In a new briefing “Inequality Kills,” published today ahead of the World Economic Forum’s Davos Agenda, Oxfam says that inequality is contributing to the death of at least 21,000 people each day, or one person every four seconds. This is a conservative finding based on deaths globally from lack of access to healthcare, gender-based violence, hunger, and climate breakdown. “It has never been so important to start righting the violent wrongs of this obscene inequality by clawing back elites’ power and extreme wealth including through taxation —getting that money back into the real economy and to save lives," she said. Billionaires’ wealth has risen more since COVID-19 began than it has in the last 14 years. At $5 trillion dollars, this is the biggest surge in billionaire wealth since records began. “Billionaires have had a terrific pandemic. Central banks pumped trillions of dollars into financial markets to save the economy, yet much of that has ended up lining the pockets of billionaires riding a stock market boom. Vaccines were meant to end this pandemic, yet rich governments allowed pharma billionaires and monopolies to cut off the supply to billions of people. The result is that every kind of inequality imaginable risks rising. The predictability of it is sickening. The consequences of it kill,” said Bucher.
  5. hell NO to Kounde a poor £70m buy if we pull that trigger
  6. yes, BUT.................... Houston, we have a problem.... he has lost a staggering 2/3rds of his net worth in the last 11 months from almost 30 billion usd to only 10.5 billion usd (£8.37bn)
  7. yes, and my point was the ridiculously lowball offer so typical of Arse (the Kroenkes are now worth over 25 billion btw)
  8. Gvardiol often plays in the centre
  9. grab the lube, I feel an assfucking coming hopefully we get chocolates afterward
  10. they are going to come for him HARD AF in 2023, if they make no move now they need upgrades at FB, especially RB, Carvajal is ageing out and I never really arted him as WC anyway I fucking hate him as well, almost as much as that uber cunt Jordi Alba there are only 5 RB's on the planet who are good enough in their eyes (if none from thsi group are available, then I would add Matty Cash next as Walker is soon 32), and one doesn't even play RB anymore Joshua Kimmich Trent Alexander-Arnold Achraf Hakimi Reece James João Cancelo
  11. looks like they are going to be busy, ffs 🤬
  12. we need something that will not happen a KILLER CF (unless Broja explodes) the board fucked the million pound pig and shit away £180m on Donekeykaku when we could have snagged either Dušan Vlahović or Victor Osimhen for a fraction of that total outlay those two track (over a full season minutes for each) 65 goals 18 assists (and with us they would have more assists) so over 40 total goals produce for each 33 and 32 goals scored, 8 and 10 assists plus they are only 22 and 23 the slug Donkey turns 30 years old during the tail end of next season only remotely acceptable play for CF is Broja and then pray I cannot see us taking a punt on the 20yo Karim Adeyemi or the 19yo (soon 20) Hugo Ekitike atm
  13. absolutely shithousing another top 4, more than likely barely doing it shambolic
