  1. lol Arsenal 'expected to make £35m Gabriel Jesus bid' after transfer chief Edu holds talks in the minute equivalent of his last 3.5 full seasons (around 3800 per season) Jesus has 94 goals 46 assists for Citeh 140 total goals produced 40 per season for a full season's minutes he just turned 25, could possibly be a double league/CL winner, and Citeh has an option to extend his contract (until mid 2024, as it stands it expires next summer) and Arse thinks they can buy him for LESS THAN WE PAID FOR DRINKWATER 🤣 (adjusted for 5 years of inflation we paid around £38.5m for Drunkwater, £34.1m in mid 2017, grrr, which also show you the crazy inflation the past 5 years) roflmaooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
  2. insanity Lukaku Total transfer fees : £293.00m
  3. this game truly showed how shit Éder Militão is was so burnt so many times and how shit their defence in the MF is without Casemiro
  4. he is why Pep wants Pau Torres Laporte was never the same (not saying physically, just mentally and play wise) after that big knee injury back a couple years ago so strange he is not shit now, but pre injury, he was an easy top 10 CB the Stones started to finally play well again, and it has been on-again-off-again for Laporte ever since also (and thus is madness as Pep has spent over £230m on fullbacks) they still need a true LB sure Cancelo (out this game) as righted footed LB has been great, BUT Walker is not going to last forever (he turns 32 next month) and then Cancelo surely goes back to RB, his natural position Ake is decent as a rotational Citeh CB, but he is not a LB up to the level they need Pep has wanted José Gayà for ages, but Valencia will not budge off his insane 100m euro release clause Gayà is out of contract in 2023, so unless he renews, maybe Citeh will finally get him, granted at 28 (turns 29 yo at the end of the season after next), not 23yo
  5. I sure would take him on our team though
  6. there are always reasons why seemingly rando people from across the planet come together in these things now I feel better and the combined total money backing the Boehly group (not that all can be used, nor does it need to be, of course) is over £70 BILLION so zero money worries
  7. oh, ffs, I cannot believe I missed this 🥴 I now know why the spuds fan Jonathan Goldstein was always in the Boehly bid (which cost them Nick Candy coming on board) Cain International Cain International was co-founded by Jonathan Goldstein and Todd Boehly in 2014 Parent Firm: Eldridge Industries (Boehly's firm) and they are a direct competitor with Candy in ultra luxury property development lol
  8. They were the first, and most of us think the best, from the beginning I was disappointed the Kuwaitis never even made a bid and the Centricus consortium was interesting, as it was all (and a shedload backing it) London money, all the principals were lifelong Chels fans and season ticket holders the Candy group too was interesting but neither made the cut so I am 100% all in on Boehly
  9. I gave not really scouted him, he is on a shit team, not a Sr international level player (and turns 25 this coming season, so doubt he will be) he is tall (1.92m) but is very thin, not a strong player I have no idea why he is linked with us he is miles below Schlotterbeck level IMHO
  10. If I hear one more time about 1. Lewis Hamilton and Serena Williams 'are buying Chelsea' and 2. How the Broughton and Coe bid is 'everything that is good about Britain' (when none of the big money is even British!) and how Broughton/Coe winning the bid means 'it's coming home' (seriously, WTF does that even mean, other than mindless, prattling sloganeering????) I AM GOING TO FUCKING SNAP I am seriously sick of this all, and I am worried that something is going to happen (like Roman refusing to sell to the winner) and we are going to be in massive shite getting super stressed and very much vexed
  11. Billy Gilmour is going back out on loan he was poor at shitbox Norwich he is not an answer
  12. probably the most stupid headline of 2022, so far
  13. I am not going to bash Rudiger we were assholes trying to lowball him (compared to what other top CB's make) and now with all this Roman nightmare people do not want to hear it, BUT Roman can still fuck us up and refuse to sell to yanks/brits, so we end up in court for ages, and are frozen out from all player business and it is Real they are the biggest club in the world they are getting Mbappe they may well get Tchouameni they WILL come for Reece next summer (2023, and I so hope not this one) and even if they fail, may well go and bring Hakimi back (who is more their style anyway) I WISH they would go all out for TAA and leave us the fuck alone. I doubt they do Håland, as there is no way they will bench the 2nd best (atm, and you COULD make an argument, right now, THE best) CF on the planet. Benz may well have 2 more crazy top years left in him. He seems pretty ageless, like Lewa and going toward Zlatan level in terms of longevity. I can see them down the road going for Theo (bringing him back as well) or even poaching Davies from Bayern, to sort their LB out. The other LB option, which i can so see, would be Nuno Mendes from PSG. I find it just insane that Mendy is ranked as the 3rd most valuable LB on the planet. He is so limited offensively and blows hot and cold defensively. He is like a slightly better, left footed version of AWB for Manure. so, all said, nope, not going to bash Rudiger sorry
  14. what is this attraction to Kounde that so many have? I wonder if most have watched him a lot like I have. He is a flawed CB short (nothing can be down about that) very rash, a hot head who does stupid things when he gets argy bargy, and NOT in a Rudiger semi smart way he is poor positionally his passing is overrated I think dropping 65 or 70m quid for him is madness and my track record of calling out shit buys in advance is pretty damn good Even if Timber grew a bit (not impossible) and topped out at 1.83m or so (I could live with that) he will VERY likely go to Manure (Ten Hag) I am 100% sticking with my 5 finalists Milan Skriniar (his contract expires in 2023, and Inter are telling him £160-165K PW (5m euro per year, NET is how they listed it), take it our leave it) Pau Torres (he has finally won me over, very near to, if not now, WC, would much rather take him than Kounde) big problem, Pep wants him BAD which MAY mean they sell one of Laporte, Stones, or Ake) this is a hard deal due to Pep Josko Gvardiol Bremer Merih Demiral IF we could grab Kalidou Koulibaly (turns 31yo on June 20 AND his contract also expires in 2023) for a low price, I think he still has 3 top season left, 2 for sure, and maybe even 4, he rebounded massively this season) I am still fuming over Nico Schlotterbeck going to Dortmund
  15. selling Tomori with no buyback was madness said it then really saying it now 🤬
  16. David Raum is interesting, I can see that for LB backup, good size (1.80m), speed, passing (11 assists in only 2400 minutes in the league) IF we fail on Tchouameni and Rice, Kamara might work, certainly is the right price (free, lol) If (very likely) Reece stays this coming season, then yes, Spence, as I doubt the board drops big bucks on Cash as for CB's IF we bought both Kounde and Timber (both are only 1.79m) we will get raped in the air in the EPL when both play, especially if we (as so many here seem to want) buy back Lamptey (1.63m) for backup RB (or ,dog forbid, IF Real buy Reece in 2023), and then use Maatsen (1.67m) at LB (if we buy no LB and Chilwell cannot go that game) midget back 4! and we have/has other short options possibilities Sarr (blech, and sub 6 foot for a CB at 1.82m) Guehi was listed at 1.82m when he was sold (now listed at 1.83m) Azpi, if he stays is only 1.78m and has been burnt so many times in the air Henry Lawrence (RB) is only 1.71m Juan Castillo 1.75m Ethan Ampadu (as a CB) 1.83m None of those 10 listed are over 6 feet, and multiple ones are dwarfs, whether for position (CB) or overall, regardless of where they play
  17. Fofana just renewed for 5 years (until mid 2027), he is going nowhere. He still is not 100% recovered from his horrid fibula fracture either (although I fully expect he will be by autumn). I do not want Kounde at all, especially if he costs damn near £70m. In a hypothetical. I take Fofana over Kounde, if Fofana was 100% fit, actually available, and £20m or less in cost (lower salary I am sure as well) Other, better options out there to both.
  18. His incredible lack of height most definitely hurts on defending, and not just on set pieces.
  19. Yes, Mount will possibly end up with 30+ total goals produced (he has 27, 12 goals, 15 assists, in only 3300 minutes) at the age of 22/23, and has been a monster in our press. He is one of the most valuable MF'ers on the planet. Do not care what the haters say. Kovacic has missed far too many games (he only has 2600 minutes played) Rudiger was a close call, but not going to put both CB's above Mount Kai has less production than Mount, he has 13 goals, 5 assists, with only 7 league goals
