just looking back at 2007-2008 insanely frustrating season!!!!!!!!!!! almost Neverkusen level 5 absolutely massive cockups (1) It was the only year we truly blew a close close chance late at the EPL title (lost by 2 points to Manure, our CURSE teams that year, its when I truly started to HATE them) (2013–14 when we finished 3rd, 4 points off Citeh was another bad finish season, we had 3 horrid losses down the stretch to Villa, Palace, and Sunderland, plus a shit draw v Norwich) also (2) we blew the CS on pens to Manure (3) we blew the League Cup final to SPUDS on that fucking 94th minute Woodgate choke goal (4) were shamefully upset by Barnsley in the 6th round of the FA Cup (5) Moscow, CL, Terry slip on the pen 🤬
-
21 trophies in 19 years and if we had not become utter SHIT in all 3 domestic cups/trophies, it could have been 30+ easily 2 wins 7 losses in the CS 3 wins, 3 losses in League Cup finals (2008 to Spuds!!! grrrr) 5 wins, 4 losses in FA Cup finals (lost 4 of the last 6, grrrrrrrr) 14 blown cup trophies domestically Plus 1 blown FWCC 1 blown CL and 3 blown Super Cups 2 wins, no losses in Europa League finals at least 19 blown finals/cups IF we were perfect, we would have won 40 trophies (couniting EPL titles) so our finals records, all cups under Roman 16 wins, 19 losses, so many of those losses in in the last 9, 10 years We are fucking cursed at Wembley now

Bastoni is the same as Barella, he does not want to leave Italy, perhaps even more so Obviously (I have pushed him literally for years and years going back to when he was in Cagliari) I would LOVE to have Barella but the more viable ones (in terms of possible coming to the Chels and the English game) on Inter who I rate are this handful of players: CB Milan Skriniar (adjusted better to a back 3 this season, was a monster, and still thrives in a back 2 as well) LWB Ivan Perisic (on a free, he was their player of the year, 5 goals, 6 assists in the last 2 months of the season) CF Lautaro Martínez (likely far too expensive when considering what Inter would want, he had 25 goals in only 3293 minutes) LWB Robin Gosens (25 goals 18 assists over his last two full seasons minutes worth of play, he was injured most of this season with a bad hamstring tear) DMF Marcelo Brozovic (Jorginho replacement but he turns 30yo this coming fall, we should have grabbed him ages ago if we truly wanted him, now it is likely too late, and a free transfer is not an option, as he turns 34yo a few months after his brand new (2 months old) contract expires end of June, 2026)
-
to be fair, all of Italy did, as it was their nation's first Euro club trophy of any type since Mo won that beast treble with Inter in 2010 he also is 5 wins, zero defeats in euro finals, and the last 4 have been clean sheets

Neymar's salary is £785K PW we will NEVER pay that

PSG 'will let Neymar LEAVE if the right offer comes in this summer' with his status at the club 'deteriorating'... but 'Man City, Man United, Liverpool and Real Madrid have no interest in him - and he doesn't want to join Newcastle' https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10852641/PSG-let-Neymar-LEAVE-right-offer-comes-summer-status-deteriorating.html snip But Neymar still has three years left on a contract which pays him £3.4m per month, is happy and settled in the French capital and is the second-highest player at the club - meaning he has no real motivation to leave.

Outgoing transfer halts Chelsea’s attempt to land Leipzig hotshot Christopher Nkunku https://www.teamtalk.com/Chelsea/christopher-nkunku-transfer-news-blues-setback-werner-sale Chelsea’s attempts to sign highly-rated RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku have suffered a setback, claims a report. Nkunku, who boasts incredible starts in Germany this season, won the Bundesliga Player of the Year. It’s hardly surprising after he blasted 35 goals and recorded 20 assists from 52 games. The 24-year-old is in contract negotiations with the DFB-Pokal winners. His contract expires in two seasons and Leipzig are well aware that he is attracting interest from across Europe. Manchester United have been heavily linked with Nkunku, although whether that interest emanated from Ralf Rangnick is unclear. Rangnick, a former Leipzig boss, is well connected at the Bundesliga club and he has the connections to get a deal done. German outlet Bild have reported United have spoken to Leipzig about a move. But Goal also suggest Chelsea are interested and “believe they are able to disrupt” the German club’s contract talks. Nkunku’s value is thought to be around £60m to £70m and he does not hold a release clause in his contract. Chelsea though know they must offload some players first, before they strengthen their hand. The club are still waiting for the finer points of their takeover from Todd Boehly to be completed. The Premier League says the consortium has passed its owner’s and directors’ test and the purchase now remains subject to the Government issuing the licence. Christian Pulisic, Timo Werner, Armando Broja and Hakim Ziyech are a few of the players who could be moved on. Romelu Lukaku has also failed to fulfil his potential at Stamford Bridge. Borussia Dortmund had been interested in signing Werner. But Goal claim they now “appear to have gone cold on a deal over cost”. Chelsea’s priority is to sell Werner was a £50m signing two seasons ago and he has also struggled to make a significant impact in the capital. The Germany international is also one of the Blues’ highest paid players on around £275,000-a-week. And so any deal for BvB will not come cheaply. Any outgoing transfers does appear to be key in the club’s efforts to bring in another forward. The outlet do claim that the Chelsea situation is a fluid one. And once their licence is granted and if they move players out, they could move quickly. Outgoing Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski is also admired at Stamford Bridge. Links to the Poland striker have emerged in the last few months, with Barcelona reported to be keen on the 33-year-old. What is clear is that Thomas Tuchel considers the summer business as a “rebuild”. And a new central defender is said to be the club’s priority. “We are rebuilding, not improving the squad. This is always challenging but we are up for the challenge,” said Tuchel last earlier this month.
