  1. Real looking shaky AF, that shit back 4 is bad bad bad
  2. what is crazy is that if we had won both domestic cups this year, and Pool lose this we would have the same number of trophies just this season as Klopp has in his entire Pool career
  3. come on Real (yes I am actually typing those words, eek)
  4. we are just under a profound Wembley and overall domestic cup curse I listed it out in the Roman thread: 21 trophies in 19 years and if we had not become utter SHIT in all 3 domestic cups/trophies, it could have been 30+ easily 2 wins 7 losses in the CS 3 wins, 3 losses in League Cup finals (2008 to Spuds!!! grrrr) 5 wins, 4 losses in FA Cup finals (lost 4 of the last 6, grrrrrrrr) 14 blown cup trophies domestically Plus 1 blown FWCC 1 blown CL and 3 blown Super Cups 2 wins, no losses in Europa League finals at least 19 blown finals/cups IF we were perfect, we would have won 40 trophies (counting EPL titles) and IF we had won that 2008 CL (so another Super Cup and FWCC) and those two near EPL misses (so 2 more CS chances as well) and were perfect (obviously impossible, but I am just showing the potential chances at trophies we would have had) we could have had 47 trophies under Roman, FIFTY if we had not been fucked in that 2005 CL semi final versus Pool (Hyypiä taking out Kezman in the box and no pen called) to sum it up on cups, our actual finals records, all cups, domestic and international, under Roman 16 wins, 19 losses, so many of those losses in in the last 9, 10 years and, like I said, we are fucking cursed at Wembley now
  5. we did great on offensive pens in League Cup, Kepa just never stopped shit like he normally had for a long time (and in big pressure games)
  6. I guess all are using this and not the CL thread

  10. Koulibaly: Napoli offers only half for the renewal: it will be a divorce The Senegalese could free himself to zero transfer cost in 2023: Chelsea, Barça, Juve and Psg are chasing now, but 40 million euros (£34m) is needed this summer to secure the deal https://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Calciomercato/Napoli/28-05-2022/koulibaly-napoli-offre-solo-meta-il-rinnovo-sara-divorzio-440720005692.shtml
  11. grabbing Dembele, Gnabry (at £34m!) and Lewa would be FIRST CLASS moves toss in Gvardiol Djed Spence, Borna Sosa and some decent DMF (I have watched a lot of games with Yves Bissouma now, and IF he is cleared of the sex charges, he just might fit the bill, I am coming around to the idea) and I will stop my whingeing about the dwarf
  12. any info on where the case stands?
  13. Because Federico Chiesa is off the table due to injury, these are the best 6 winger options atm (for different reasons) many will soon be taken (I do not list Nkunku as a winger) Serge Gnabry £34million, a steal Ousmane Dembélé free, a steal Raheem Sterling Raphinha Jarrod Bowen Moussa Diaby
  14. Barcelona put 10 players up for sale (all are dross, except for Frenkie de Jong) https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1617021/man-utd-arsenal-leeds-barcelona-transfer-gossip Among the cluster of stars ESPN claim Xavi has told to beat it, there remain several who may not be of particular interest to Premier League sides. Martin Braithwaite, Luuk de Jong and Oscar Mingueza are among them, while Francisco Trincao might have bagged himself a bumper move if his loan spell at Wolves had been more productive. But the other six could draw attention primarily from Arsenal, Man Utd and Leeds. The Gunners may have the most at stake as boss Mikel Arteta will need a new centre-back if William Saliba opts against returning to north London, a new midfielder either way and at least one striker. Defensively, Barca have put Samuel Umtiti and Clement Lenglet on the chopping block which could be enough to get Arteta's attention. The former has somehow spent year after year collecting dust on the side-lines in Catalonia, without actively trying to seek out a move elsewhere. Last season, he made one appearance in all competitions and La Blaugrana would surely jump at the chance to shift him from the wage bill. As for Arsenal, they would be taking a punt on a World Cup winner with 31 France caps. Lenglet has played a whole lot more football than Umtiti over the past few years, but he slipped down the pecking order under Xavi this season. The 26-year-old may be less of a gamble than his out-of-favour team-mate, but big wages could put Arsenal off any potential deal. In midfield, Barca are supposedly looking to offload Miralem Pjanic, who has spent the past season on loan at Besiktas. Another player whose career has nosedived in recent years, going after him would be a gamble for the Gunners, but he can boast fruitful spells at Juventus and Roma on his CV. Finally, in what could shape up to be an Arsenal-bound clearance sale at the Camp Nou, Barca are expected to listen to offers for Memphis Depay. The Dutch forward only signed for La Blaugrana last summer and has put up respectable numbers since, but the scintillating form of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and the potential signing of Robert Lewandowski may leave him frozen out. The Gunners could then step in, given that Alexandre Lacazette's imminent exit will leave them with just one recognised striker. United's vested interest lies in the potential sale of Frenkie de Jong. Barca's financial situation could force them to consider bids for those they are willing to cash in on, and while they would be content to free up space in the squad, the competition for De Jong's signature removes any 'bargain' element from the Red Devils' perspective. New boss Erik ten Hag has supposedly told the former Ajax midfielder that he is prepared to build United's midfield around him if he snubs Champions League football to join his Premier League project in a deal worth £59m. Leeds may be pleasantly surprised to find out that Xavi is willing to part ways with midfielder Riqui Puig. Granted, the club's initial interest reportedly stemmed from Marcelo Bielsa's time in charge, but his opinion still carries plenty of weight in Yorkshire and there are sure to be one or two considering the possibility of a cut-price deal for the diminutive 22-year-old, who was once tipped to be the next big thing in Catalonia.

  17. yes, ZERO chance we would pay his salary of £875K PW
  18. damn, it really was a close run thing, as Tuesday our license runs out, and if we had not been sold, we would have went into liquidation proceedings within 30 days or so, barring an extension
