What was the last top signing under Roman? Hazard? What too signings are Liverpool and arsenal getting that we couldn't if we wanted? We spent money before, difference is we bought an entire squad in like 2 windows, it's unheard of, and if your are using the spending billions argument then you have to look at what it was spent on "potential" we haven't bought players to win the league last season or the season before. If we had bought ready made world class players and finished 12th then the argument of spending billions would stand. For me we are buying and moulding a team into what the owners want, I imagine the big names will come eventually, but these are trying to lay the foundations first, rather than starting with the roof.

We are a top 6 club and we finished in the top 6, getting top 4 isn't as easy as it once was, throw in the fact new ownerships a complete overhaul of the club and players staff etc really isn't as bad as some make it out to be.
