  1. How many have been coached to do so? Poch wasn't anywhere close to possession play, they just had no idea what to do imo huge difference
  2. Players take different lengths of time to mature or come into there own, Palmer for example did ok at man city then came here and blew us away this season, circumstances can turn a players career just like that. And another thing is what your comparing world class too? Modric? Kante? Rodri? Bellingham? How far back do we go to compare other players to? I am genuinely interested in that question because imo the level of player has dropped significantly over the years, to be a good football these days you need to be an athlete first and foremost, most of the skill has completely left the game imo
  3. People say you cant compare him to pep which is fair, but you also can't compare him to potter either, potter 2.0 is abit harsh to say he's not even signed yet, is he a risk yes! Every managerial appointment is and we have sacked even (world class) coach we have ever had, our players need direction and a proper coach and we have now someone with a clear footballing identity let's just hope it pays off! I'm also not sure this is true, twitter is 99% BS and 1% truth it's a complete click bait game so they will say everything and anything for clicks, don't let stuff like that cloud your vision, if clearlake wanted De zerbi we would have him, the constant shit we have heard about them going into dressing rooms, wanting to be involved in on the pitch tactics and blah blah blah, if this is true (highly doubt) then do you really think if they wanted some one they wouldn't hire him regardless? Or is this forum now at the stage where they think the owners overthrow the manager at half time but not the sporting directors on a manager they apparently want? Come on now
  4. Championship doesn't get the credit it deserves tbh, it's a bloody hard league and most weeks more enjoyable to watch than the prem
  5. Enlighten me I don't use tweeter or no who the hell he's taking about 🤣
  6. In that game leicester were 1-0 after 2 minutes and could have been 4-0 up at half time if it wasn't for some terrible finishing
  7. This can be said about all managers, man city man utd for 1 example, cases of this all over football, we also were a prime example this season and poch got all the blame for players not finishing the move.
  8. @Magic Lampsatleast one things for sure, we will know how we play for a change lol might not be that impressive if you not into that kinda football but atleast we will have some kind of identity which we have lacked for a long while.
  9. Well I don't like the fact we have to be attacked to then attack lol I don't like the fact it's kinda a one trick pony way of playing as we have been found out when teams just sit deep and we had no idea. It's a dangerous but entertaining way to play I grant you that.
  10. Peps Barcelona did the exact same, when it works it's a beautiful thing when it doesn't it's frustrating, if he comes then I'll back him and personally I was rather impressed with watching that clip, I hate counter attacking football, atleast this guy might be able to break the low block which we have struggled with so much this year.
  11. Personally looking at that yes I'm impressed, 50+ passes then a goal....
  12. Just been on the LCFC forums, most ain't even bothered he's going 🤣
  13. RDZ is now the bookies favourite, truth is no one knows wtf is going on 🤣
  14. Mourinho is like my first car, loved it did me an absolute solid, but if I got it back now it would be a pile of shit 🤣
  15. Again agree, I am not for or against him coming at this this point I just let the dice roll, but normally 2 things happen with a manager, 1 they absolutely hit the ground running (big Ange) then they slowly die off because it's down to new manager hype and they fade out, 2 they start slow and build and build and build and you end up with something worth while (klopp pep sir Alex arteta) for example Problem we have is the fans, if we don't start firing immediately we kick out toys out the pram, and if we kick off straight away by the second season we want them gone and the same happens again!
  16. Technically premier league manager now but I see your point, although one thing he has on his side is taken a team to back to back promotions, I'm not sure how many of you actually watch the championship but that league is absolutely brutal and any manager who manages to conquer that the season after promotion deserve huge credit, might not deserve the Chelsea job 🤣 but still I think that massive achievement is been underplayed alot. Infact I'd say back to back promotions from league 1 to the premier league is harder than than winning the double with a man city or the likes of arsenal. Which brings me onto my next point, will the players respect him? You don't get a team back to back promotions if can't rally a team behind you 110% which shows he has good man management and clearly some idea of tactics and style of play.
  17. They need a back bone, giving children such things isn't only stupid it's disgusting, children can't drink can't smoke can't drive can't work, still in education some can't even do there times tables yet are in a position to decide if they want to change sex? The fact this is even a debate is beyond belief and the parents who allow this should have there kids taken of them for abuse, because 9x out of 10 it's these idiots forcing it onto them in the first place!!!
  18. Ok ok, it's me, I've asked to manage for a year but take 3 years pay, even if I get us in Europe I will be sacked if I get them to Europe and a cup final I can just walk away, good pension no strings attached and my medical team will be the Chelsea pensioners. But in a serious note I think it's Eddie Howe, or I've atleast heard rumours
  19. Which leads me to believe potter started on the defensive side of our game before the attacking to make us harder to beat, where poch went for the attacking side straight away because last year we couldn't score for shit
  20. Just because we paid 50 or 100m doesn't make them 100m worth of player, we over paid for nearly all our transfers! Again names on a sheet means nothing in this situation, our team was a new young team, first time most have played in the league and in this cup, first ever final as a team and at that point we weren't doing great anyway, compare that to a club that's had solid foundations and a style of play in place for the last 7 years and a team that is completely gelled. If our team had stability and a good 2 seasons together I would agree with you, but the fact is we didn't, a well oiled machine is a well oiled machine regardless what parts are used.
  21. Our team also had had a younger average age than that Liverpool team aswell, which ppl either forget or just conveniently leave out.
  22. There is more chance we hire queen Elizabeth the 2nd than klopp, and she's dead.
  23. Your missing the point of my post, the hulk was absolutely flapping and ready to bridge dove if we didn't get Enzo in the transfer market, and now he's saying he's the obvious change that was meant to happen.
  24. Hang on hang on? The obvious changes? This good run started when Enzo got injured! Then he changed it up and started winning!! So do you mean to tell me all this time the signing you actually nearly emploded for was the obvious change that needed to happen?
