good individual first half for traore in my opinion. Been Ajaxs biggest threat and caused some problems. looks like he could get a goal today.

kid is having a rough first half against ManU. Lots of misplaced passes and seems flustered by the big stage. Ajax CB's both are super aggressive carrying the ball forward.

I think people on here are a little too harsh against Lukaku, how i look at things is he is a young physical force who has been scoring goals in a top league at a young age for a mid table team. Frankly people discussing his mindset and their perception of his mentality i don't necessarily agree with, you don't know whats going on inside his head or how he feels. I have to believe that Conte has signed off on a transfer of this magnitude so clearly the people in charge see something in him. I think that with a team built like ours and the service we can provide he will be a more consistent scorer than Diego with far less headache, he is still a young developing striker and with a proper team behind him and coaches to push him who says he cant continue to add things to his game. When is a player ever fully formed at 23/24? He might not be my #1 option(Belotti for silly personal reasons) but I do believe that if we sign him he will get 25 goals a year for us and he will score against the top 6 and be a handful in the CL. This guy can flat out score and is a physical freak if Conte thinks he can work with him then on the day we announce the signing ill be happy and in time I think he will prove he can lead the line for Chelsea.

Kante + Bakayoko will be a devastating duo in the middle of the field. Bakayoko seems to be quite good at dribbling the ball out which is something we have been needing to help break the high press. He is still a little raw but if he is who conte wants I am all for it. He can help mold him the way he sees fit. The ground coverage between him and Kante would be spectacular. I was hoping for someone with a little more of a goal threat (Radja) but i see the appeal of him.

IF we do sell him to Gladbach please for the love of god add in a Buy Back Clause. If a buy back is in the contract then i am fine with him moving there and continuing to develop.

I was at the Juve Roma game on sunday on vacation and I was always a fan but seeing him live reaffirms my belief he would be absolutely perfect next to kante and even more perfect in a 352. Would love to see him with us next year.

in our defence, Mbappe wouldnt be the Mbappe we know if he signed here. He would dominate youth levels like Solanke and Abraham and would be currently off on loan somewhere. I hope we can bring Tammy into the squad next year, or at least a good PL loan and integrate the year after

I think Hazard will be here next year then after World Cup 2018 he will want to move as the next big Galactico. Surely Ronaldo will have moved to striker by then which would give them Hazard/Ronaldo/Bale(and whoever else they buy). He will be 27 and ready for a new challenge, hopefully then Conte will have established his style of play and the board can support him with what we need to be successful moving forward.

I would LOVE for him to be back with us next year, but feels like the next progression is PL loan. Lets hope conte takes an interest though and is willing to keep AND actually play him in some games

You ever gonna give it up? Alonso is a KEY to our success this year and he has been great in the role. I had dreams of Kenedy being a useful LWB but i don't think Conte trusts him. I have been vocal about my want for Mendy because i think he gives us something different but we are currently in 1st and going for the double with Alonso at LWB so show him some respect.

Very fair, Griez or Sanchez would certainly fit nicely i agree. I have not seen enough of Tolisso to have an educated opinion im only going off what I have read, but he and Morata are seem to be more skillful than Radja/Lukaku but they are not as physically imposing. Just a matter of who Conte prefers/who wants to come/who is available. There are so many ways we can go in the summer it will be incredibly intriguing.

(I am genuinely curious, not attacking your statement) Radja is a hyperactive CM in his prime who has shown he can defend fiercely and knock some goals in from distance and hustles for 90 mins. Lukaku has consistently raised his goal tally year after year even as a young striker in the PL.

Maybe Monchi will be more willing to do business with us, Could see an ageing CM and off load for a sizable profit which he could then go to work with. A win for both teams!

Its a shame he never settled into life in London or showed he ever really wanted to be here. He could have been a Legend, when he is focused I love him and I think all Chelsea fans do. Truly only out for the money(which is fine, its business). I am shocked by his recent form but I truly believe he will shake it off sooner or later and help us win the championship. Conte will sit him down and say you can leave this summer if you pull it together. Give him what he wants and ship him off to China for $$$. Conte can bring in who HE wants to command his line. I am pulling for Juventus because I love Buffon, Bonucci, and Chiellini. But would be thrilled to see Monaco win it. If i had to pick one player, for the future and most valuable player is Mbappe. BUT for our current needs and looking at what we can get on the market I would probably take Mendy. He would be spectacular on that Left side and give us the competition/upgrade we need for that spot and Alonso. I think the options for right side attackers and central midfield are stronger in the available market than a stud LWB is which is why i go for Mendy. how about for yourself? Can only have one.

Whoever it is we bring in be it Rom or Belotti or Morata I just hope they are more dominant with their head than Diego. We have a system built with width as an importance and it kills me when we just swing balls across to nobody. Rom and Belotti are both extremely dangerous with their heads. I favour belotti but I have a personal bias with him being Italian, and I think he will work harder for the team. BUT if we end up with Rom I think he will consistently score 20 goals for us and be a fine piece of business depending what we sell Diego for.
