Who remembers how beastly he was in the 09-10 season before the injury? I honestly believe we would have won the CL that season if he stayed fit. Only Xavi and Iniesta were better CM's for me at the time. He was like Vidal on drugs. There was also the epic defensive performance on Gerrard in the CL at those cunts place. Gerrard and Torres were both on fire at the time, he ate Gerrard up and in succession shut down the entire Liverpool team. Should have gone down as one of the greatest midfielders ever. Period. He also created more chances than any other player in the Europa League.He was just awarded the Golden Foot yesterday, already has a Belgian cap to his name and his widely accepted as the best player in the Belgian League. How is more of a risk than an average winger from an almost amateur League.

Since when are the Belgian and Dutch Leagues weaker than the Swiss one?And of course they'll struggle to initially make an impact.
