We nearly won the League with Torres starting half our games last season. Stop.
-
Wish we'd play out from the back more. Hate the unnecessary hoofing.
-
I hope this Azpi at LB thing ends soon. He's so uncomfortable on the ball. Wow.
-
Looks like we're still short on fitness. This 2nd half has been very poor and lethargic. Still a lot of room of improvement in this team.

When did this myth of Cech flapping at crosses begin lol? And when was he dropped for Schwarzer da fak? Cech at Courtois' age was miles better. At 32 it's much closer though, the only major difference between the two is people will favour Courtois because he's the younger more exciting player at the moment. It's why you keep hearing the "he's never been the same since the head injury" line time after time despite the fact he was far and away the best keeper in the World as early as 2012.
-
Not it wasn't! His first goal was against Villa. EDIT: Why does everyone call him slow lol? I would attribute something like that to players like Alonso, Carrick or Busquets. Matic on the other hand covers the ground very quickly. I guess he's one of those deceptively quick players who everyone assumes is slow because of his massive frame.

Not sure if this has been posted yet. "Fabregas is the player we need to modify a little bit the profile of our game, which we need," Mourinho added. "We want to give the next dimension to our game in midfield and Fabregas is this kind of player which I like to call 'the seven', because he's not the six and he's not the eight." "Normally the seven is the winger, I also call the seven the guy in midfield who's not the six, he's not the eight. Or he's a six and eight at the same time. So he's a seven and we need him a lot." First off, what the **** is he talking about lol? and secondly, where can I watch the interview where he said that? I'm assuming he means Cesc is a complete midfielder but I'm not entirely sure. At least he's confirmed he intends to play him in CM, Oscar can breathe a sigh of relief.

Coutinho definitely can't shoot and he's incredibly inconsistent.
-
Yeah, I'm hoping the way the likes of Ramsey, Coutinho and Rodriguez are performing gives Oscar more motivation to raise his game this season.
-
Look, I like Willian but Schurrle is simply more of a threat to teams. His runs in behind, movement and finishing ability gives him the upper hand over any the rest of the players competing for that RW spot. Willian does alot of good things but he's virtually no threat to the opposition. His lack of goalscoring (has never scored 10 goals in a season before) has been a theme throughout his career despite playing in Ukraine for a good chunk of it. Schurrle on the other hand has already scored 8 more club career goals despite being 3 years younger. Nothing against Willian but Schurrle simply has a higher ceiling for me.
-
Schurrle >>>>> Willian. Fulham away, PSG Home, Stoke away, Steaua away. Call me when Willian has a game as good as any of those.
-
It's crazy that Oscar's best game for us to this date remains his full debut, the hype surrounding him was insane after that game. Hopefully he returns to that level this season.

Tottenham's 08-09 Pre-Season Tottenham 8-0 Tavernes Tottenham 4-2 CD Denia Tottenham 1-1 Hercules Tottenham 5-1 Norwich Tottenham 5-1 Leyton Orient Tottenham 2-0 Celtic Tottenham 3-0 Borrusia Dortmund Tottenham 5-0 Roma 28 GD with Darren Bent scoring 13 times. What happened after it ended No idea why people care about these games. I've only seen 1 half so far.
-
Trolling?
-
When does the season start? I'm sick of these games already.
-
How the f**k are we continuously getting top dollar for all these players? Emenalo and Mourinho are good at this market thing. Glad we're getting rid, he turned his back on Chelsea and let down Mourinho big time last season. If the reported €38m is true then.... Thanks for paying for our next forward Everton.
-
The Costa/Cesc connection should yield at least 30 goals this season. Wow.
-
Are we really blaming Torres for Lukaku's departure? He's a coward that left on loan to Everton a year ago despite being our top scorer in pre season, he almost certainly would have became a starter if he stayed. He clearly doesn't fancy his chances up against Costa this year either. Fuck him, as long as we get around £30m I couldn't care less whether he stays or goes. Madrid nearly won a treble last year with just Benzema upfront all year, Barca have been reliant on Messi for years. A backup striker isn't a necessity now that we have a 30 goal striker.
-
Any in depth videos of Costa out there? Not just the ones with his goals and shitty techno background music.
-
Any good Cesc videos on YouTube? Preferably ones of him in an Barca shirt.
-
That's why I'm a bit wary regarding these reports. Surely we can get far more than the reported fee for him? Especially with the prices players like supposedly Borini are going for.
-
It's time to go back to being dependent on a striker. Rotation never works when it comes to forwards.
-
Jose must have had enough. If Mourinho feels he can't manage him then I have no problem in the club selling him. There are simply too my warning signs when it comes to him and he's not half as good as he thinks he is. Feel we're being shafted a bit though. We should be getting at least £30m on him, put that money in the bank for when the next big striker comes onto the scene.
-
Can't we loan out Torres to Atletico? Keep that cunt Lukaku to learn under him and we're good to go.
-
The personal battle between him and Oscar for the 3rd midfield spot will be fun to watch.
