  1. I agree with your point, but he's shown no urgency at all. On one side you can't always blame his team mates/game plan, but on the other side this 'where is Hazard' mentality in every single game is very annoying. He can't perform at the best of his abilities in every single game. Get a grip.
  2. That's a nice way of putting it. 0 urgency. Very disappointed.
  3. This is so tragic. I feel like this in the great majority of the big games.
  4. Ughh. I'll keep it short. That was not good.
  5. Did Mourinho give the medical team permission to treat Cahill haha?
  6. What is this? Don't even look a like top-flight side.
  7. Sarcasm. Notice how I said line-ups. My dog could've predicted these line-ups (I don't own a dog).
  8. Shocking line-ups. Don't know what to expect. Can only hope for the best. I hope Hazard wakes up from his siesta.
  9. I have to say, Jonjo Shelvey is a (very) good player. Intelligent and patient on the ball, strong passer and a good eye for through balls. Still very young too, didn't realise that. Wouldn't mind him as an alternative to Fabregas at all, but playing every week is better for him. He should always be in the England squad imo. He's the type of player England lacks, and always have lacked.
  10. Fair enough. If it were up to me, you'd be right.
  11. Bayern can't not win the title. Quality, cohesion, winning mentality still very much alive. They want that record 4th title in a row. Lewa, Muller, Robben, Vidal, Boateng, Lahm, Alaba, Neuer (fit Javi Martinez and Ribery)... all proven world-class players. Then there's Thiago, Alonso and Benatia, brilliant players on their day (Gotze with his talent). Only Reus and Hummels compare (Gundogan if he ever recaptures his old form). It's not even fair. Say what you want about the Bundesliga, but those players would dominate every league bar La Liga. Less spankings in the PL and Serie A, sure, but they would win. Dortmund might have a chance next season, if they strengthen. I think their earliest chance to actually win the title will be in two seasons though. I have Dortmund for 2nd this year as well. Hope they can do it. Aubameyang is growing on me. I love his enthusiasm. Lightening speed this guy.
  12. 0. But still, Dortmuuuuunnnd!
  13. That last one haha. He actually pulled it off succesfully, the defender lost his head for a second. I called him a squad player, but boy is he proving me wrong for now. It will be interesting to see how he'll do over a full season. That's the way to start as a new signing btw. None of that struggling with the ball, misplacing passes, failing to make any impact for months, people telling you the player needs time.
  14. Good. They deserve a spanking and a good dose of humiliation like the rest of us experience as well. There's the line-up excuse but still, this must hurt. Great day for Bilbao.
  15. The excitement, attention and hype surrounding his signing is very strange. You'd think they signed a POTY candidate. Depay is for the future. Suarez ripped the Eredivisie apart and he needed well over 18 months before he became a star. Depay doesn't even compare to Ajax Suarez yet.
  16. That's a great way of saying you've been sacked though. No conditions of staying, as in I'm no longer reiceiving any salary and the authorities will be notified if I show up at the work place.
  17. Nostalgia. Maka and Essien were great, but they had plenty of limitations as well.
  18. Silva hasn't even played one full season at #10 in his entire career I think. He's always operated in a wide playmaker role at both Valencia and City, playing in the middle if they changed system or whatever. He did deliver a masterclass performance against WBA though. Classic #10 display. You don't see that much these days. They should show this in academies to aspiring playmakers.
  19. The journalists in Europe seem to rate him pretty highly. He finished 6th in the race for UEFA Player of the Year. Quite the feat imo.
  20. Best Super Cup ever haha. Complete entertainment. Thoroughly enjoyed that.
  21. Complete control after 55 min. 4-1. And then everything goes wrong. Compliments to Sevilla. To trail by three goals yet come back takes great mental strength. A spanking would've been sad for them anyway. But very, very poor from Barca's side. Individual mistakes have killed them. Mathieu with some atrocious defending, Bartra comes on and immediately fails miserably. See what happens when you take off Iniesta.
  22. I just experienced multiple football orgasms. I don't know what to say about their football today. They make it look so easy. Messi... sigh. One of the best 45 min I've ever seen a footballer play. And Messi's name tends to come to mind when thinking about the best individual displays. How do you score two free-kicks in one game, one half even. Why do I even bother to understand... Dani Alves's resurgence is a complete mystery to me. Legendary footballer. Between 2006-2012, he was simply sensational. I never thought he'd play like that again, but here he is. Second wind. At his age, at this stage of his career. After winning all those trophies. In such a demanding position. Amazing. Pique's comeback. Seemingly unmotivated and not in his best physical shape for years. Apparently lost his hunger for the game. He was turning into that sad story of peaking early. His true ability forgotten. Now he's back with a bang, playing better than ever before, maturing into a leader at the back. Iniesta remains pure footballing magnificence, I don't care what anyone says. Just watch the guy play. Always making the right decisions, rarely loses the ball and he plays with an effortless flair and grace. Football god. I still can't believe this is the same Suarez I would watch at The Arena. I say it all the time. The progress this man has booked... this is the stuff you see in films. This is what he wanted. 'Work hard enough and you can do anything'. Well, Suarez did it. And I applaud him for it.
