Great goal Torres. We really need a new left winger. I don't like Mata on the wing, doesn't offer us what we need from there. He should be moved into the middle. We'd reach a new level if that happens really.

Exactly. That's why I'm hoping for a midfielder with a great eye for the final pass to join or maybe a new winger so Mata can move into the middle. He needs to work on his shooting though, he keeps making poor connections with the ball in his shots (except for when scored of course). And that's the main reason why he's been missing chances.

Ramires. Our midfield isn't strong enough.. It's so painful to watch Lampard play as he does nothing for us. And it still remains to be seen whether Sturridge has what it takes to be our right winger/forward, has not been playing at the required level. And we need to defend a lot better. As you probably already know, I rate Silva very, very highly so I hope you're right and he reaches that level . I don't see understand the comparison many make though, two different players really.

Anyone notice how Cole's form has skyrocketed with a quality player in front of him? Mata and Cole are really clicking.

We're getting better and better. Our play is a lot better with Meireles (breathe of fresh air in our midfield), Mata and Sturridge. D. Luiz quickens things up as well. Now we just need to play even quicker and become more incisive. Having someone with a lot of pace in the side would have been so ideal..

I (try to) block never winning the trophy out of my mind.. But seriously, there's nothing better than CL football for me.
