Even when he had to play as a attacking midfielder, he keeps drifting to the side. Edit: Now I understand, you've been watching videos of his last season. That's not the role he's playing regularly in the past years though. But you are right about him not being a pure winger, he's more of a left-attacker (like Cristiano, 'old Messi', only Messi played on the right and comparable to Malouda in 09/10).
