  1. He's an absolute nuisance on the ball. Everytime I think he might loose the ball when facing two or three defenders, he somehow manages to maneuver the ball past their legs and eventually find a team mate most of the time. He makes those trying to stop him look like absolute fools when there's really not much they can do.
  2. Pleeeaaase keep attacking them! Hazard has been brilliant, Luiz is not a midfielder, I love JT.
  3. I'd prefer the term centre midfielder, i hear/read defensive midfielder and I think of guys like Mikel and Sven Bender etc. Anyway there are more examples btw, think of Verratti of PSG. Arteta was an attacking midfielder at Everton before Wenger moved him to a role in front of defense. Dembele was a striker (I always smile when thinking about it, he's a awful finisher), then moved to the wings and now he's a centre mid. Gerrard's best years were as an offensive player and we know where plays now, a role he fills in quite well I have to say. Pirlo's another example but you'd have to waaaay back. There's just something about KDB's game that makes me think of Schweini. It would take time yes though I think it's mostly a case of commitment from him and willingness to take a chance or to even see it at all (Schweinsteiger was 25 I think when Van Gaal played him there).
  4. Technically you're right. But I can't help but think of Schweinsteiger, or even Scholes, when thinking of Kevin. He used to be an attacking midfielder too, playing on the right in a 4-4-2. Not a player known for defensive qualities at all back then but we all know who he is now in centre midfield. Slightly different case with Scholes, who played in advanced central role at first but he's a lot less like KDB in terms of playing style. With proper coaching, I have a strong feeling he could learn to play the position. But if those reports about him in training are true, he might not have the right attitude right now or he just doesn't click with Mourinho.
  5. It's not that I think he'd be a starter but I read some posts talking about that midfield-three being a possibility.I personally don't see the similarity between him and Ramires tbh. Energetic yes but he's more like the Gerrard of old imo, only not nearly as good.
  6. Utd had Scholes. And even if you do want go for power, Lampard and Essien in their prime were in a different class compared to Guarin. And I'm sorry but a midfield-three consisting of Ramires, Mikel and Guarin sounds awful.
  7. Not too long ago, Fellaini was considered as a fantastic (possible) addition by the majority on here. Gotta love the football world haha.
  8. Oh please let this not be true. Not another technically and tactically limited player..
  9. That's the absolute most frustrating part of his game. He's been doing it since his Chelsea career started and has never stopped doing. I can't believe that the army of coaches/managers he's worked with haven't been able to get that out of his game.Obi in general is a decent player at this level but shouldn't be starting for a club of Chelsea's aspirations imo, a fine squad player though. I consider him a very lucky man, having played at Chelsea for so long and I wouldn't be surprised if he never left.
  10. Like I said, some weak moments but he has saved us quite a few times. Arsenal's GK for example has had to deal with far less.
  11. Cech has had his weak moments yeah but a Chelsea GK shouldn't have to deal with as much as he has this season. This team needs learn how to control games. The worst thing of all is that all these goals conceded aren't even a result of very offensive football...
  12. Hattrick Hazard, I want a hattrick Hazard
  13. Eden should be able to get at least another goal and assist in the second half, he's been perfect so far. A hattrick would be great.
  14. Completely agree. That's why I'm with Mourinho in his case, expect so much more from him than what he's done for Chelsea so far.
  15. And here I was thinking I was being original. Fair enough. Thought he'd get a chance again by now, feels like ages since I have last seen him. Would also be good to a have left-footed player in that position again imo, much better for build-up play.
  16. Did Mourinho catch his wife in bed with Ash?
  17. The main reason for the problems in this team have been the constant changes in the forward positions which has lead to a lack of understanding and cohesion up front. That's what you get when you have to please so many good players as they certainly won't be quiet when they're not playing. I have to say, I have not been impressed by the team this season. Massive improvement is needed in the overall performances.
  18. I was talking about Mourinho not making changes even though Norwich scoring a goal was pretty much inevitable and the team was struggling. I actually like the fact that when he did make a change, he really went for it as has been the case before. It's time the boys start showing why they get paid the big bucks and put in convincing displays though. Only played one great game so far this season and that was against poor opposition.
  19. Went completely crazy until I saw the ball roll into the net somehow.Really has to work on his shooting like you said to take his game to the next level.
  20. Disagree with the comments giving Mourinho the credits for the win, the players, including some Norwich players, won us this match. His reactive nature nearly cost us the victory.
