I've hung around a milan forum, and i can't tell you how much they want to get ljalic and honda in, though i think chelsea probably could win this one i wouldn't discount milan apparently their new man (Poli) has been looking good, but Nocerino is on a downward slope apparently, they also got a new man Silvestre on loan from inter and will be interesting to see what he does.

Ever remember years ago a footballer abeit from the south american leagues or european leagues, any leagues for that matter had a massive load of hype around them in their younger days ..now they have seemed to gone missing and forgotten from all the huge hype, ethier by injury's or they just did not live upto the hype? i thought i would make a thread about them. Names like, Freddy Adu (Next pele), Kerlon (The guy famous for the seal dribble), Gai Assulin (Ment to be the Next Messi) spring to mind Not to say they are bad footballers just a thread for those who have gone missing or never lived upto the hype..along them lines :3.

Feels unusual remembering at least from my memory him not being super huge, but something back then, that 30-32 mil signing for city XD just now it seems to have dissapeared.

I would frankly rather go with schwarzer, ideal age, can come here on a decent wage too (since i read up about you might want to save up money for life after playing football, not to mean of course he won't find another job but you know what i mean) capable back up, and by the time he retires (1 or 2 years?) Courtois should hopefully be fresh for the picking for him and cech to go at number 1 spot. 10m on ruddy is not the best option, by far not when you look at the other options, plus as mentioned here it would highly hinder his chances of being in the england set up if he was just always in cechs shadow, where as i think for someone like scwarzer who's pretty much spent a long time in top flight it'd not be so bad if he just settled down as a 2nd goalkeeper.
