  1. I'd go for Hakim Ziyech, left footer playing on the right with insane vision. We got to see that last Wednesday
  2. There is ASBOLUTELY no way Mbappe is coming to Chelsea, get down to earth people... Vesper you seem like a very nice person but often times you seem to think the transfer market is football manager, which it is not.
  3. Trust me you don't have to convince me :D. I can't see him near the starting eleven if RLC grows back to his pre-injury level tbh.
  4. Guys.. he should have let the action go through and then review with Var, but he was just slightly OFFSIDE so it would have been disallowed either way. Good attitude from the boys, go win this now!!!!
  5. mis-hit shot ? He obviously passed it.. I know you dont like him but don't be ridiculous.
  6. Back to training yesterday, giroud played a few minutes against OL this tuesday. After the game, the french international was asked on the situation of one oh his french teammates, Nabil Fekir, whose name has been associated to Chelsea lately. The former Arsenal player did not hide he would be pleased to welcome the lyonais. Nothing interesting really
  7. What's your data to support that? Last i know, Hazard's annual cost for the club is £13.3M. Fabregas is higher for example, at £13.8M, Kante must be around £12M and Morata is around £19.5M (!). I understand that you feel we can expect more from Hazard, based on the fact he is our best player, and i agree to some extent, but you cannot use his cost for the club to justify your point. Even with the outrageous wages rumoured with the new contract, he'd still end up costing the club roughly the same. Cheers.
  8. What frustrates me most with him is his horrendous body language. He is intrinsically strong and quick, but he does not have a clue how to use those attributes. Also, everytime he goes into a challenge, he looks so frightened as if they were going to rip him appart. Damn the opponent should be frightened to go to battle with him and all he does is a josh McEarchan impression.
  9. It is always the same arguments that we hear to define a attacking player's quality, goals and assists, which is what matters in the end as the goal is the win and you win with goals. But this is definitely a problem when those stats are the main (only?) thing being looked at to define an attacker's quality. Eden brings so much more to the game than that, people who don't see that just don't understand how football works i am sorry. I am not talking about you specifically, but more generally about people who say he's overrated. By giving those numbers this way, it indeed makes it look like there is a word of difference between the 2 but the context is so different. Hazard scored 8 goals in the league in 16 app, but Chelsea scored 30 goals in total during those 16 games, so that's roughly a 27% direct contribution. If you look at Neymar, he scored 15 in 15 but PSG scored nearly double the amount of goals (53), so his contribution is a similar28%, so the same direct goal contribution practically. Don't take me wrong, Neymar is a fantastic footballer and i am not trying to minimize what is he achieving, but people are so quick to just draw conclusions based on the raw number of goals it is driving me crazy. I guess what i want to say with those numbers i mentioned is that you can always use the stats in favor of your argument (if Hazard scored as much he'd be up there with him) while overlooking the whole context of those numbers. The arguments of Belgiannutt are so true, how is he even expected to score or assist as much if the team plays with 9 defensive players and is sometimes struggling to even create 2 clear chances during 90 minutes. If Neymar was here and Hazard at PSG, i am pretty sure that we'd see the opposite in terms of goals, then would you guys say that Hazard is the obvious better player? But again this is fantasy and suppositions as we just won't be able to know. They're both amazing players, but to place Neymar so clearly above Hazard based on goal contribution is completely absurd for me, knowing that the context in which they've been playing is so different. That comparison would have more sense if say hazard was playing for madrid when Neymar was at Barcelona (same opposition, both attacking football styles..). Just to finish, i think Neymar IS a better finisher than Hazard, but overall i believe Hazard brings at least as much to the game with other qualities of his, and that it would be even clearer to the whole world if he had better players to play with.
  10. No thanks, does not even look good enough on YouTube video... Fucking splash 60m on a proven left wing back (Sandro yuhu) and be done with it. 20M on Baba, 25M on Alonso, 20M on Zappacosta, 25M on another decent but not good enough wing back? *sigh*
  11. Come on people, i know these last few days have been rich in emotions with the whole Andy Caroll story, but it is just not possible that this is true. He's a 37 y.o bench warmer for a club fighting to stay in Premier league. Pure BS/troll.
  12. Haha man i just lost my shit :D. This good old Kevin Nolan.
  13. He's been terrible today, no doubt. But Baka wa also terrible, so why take our best player off when we need to push and win games? You say we overrate him. Have you thought about the other possibility which is you just don't see how good he is? When so many people (experts and nobodys like us) agree on something it is generally true.
  14. Who has been performing at a higher level than him those last games? I am curious to hear your opinion. Also, why say he's been poor? You saying that really gave the impression you were having a go at him when he should really be the last one to be criticized along with Kante in this team. And Courtois is getting more stick from the fans for what he says in the media, not for his game input.
  15. You're really harsh with the team. They haven't played city-esque football, but they were more than decent, except against the Hammers of course. I see what you mean about Hazard but come on, you cannot expect him to pull out 10/10 performances week in week out, he's been performing at a really good level lately. In any case, nowhere near "poor".
  16. Lol what? He's been the best chelsea player in 3 of the last 4 matches, how can you even say that?
  17. You should stop hating on him, seriously. You really sound deluded when you talk about him at times. He's at miles from his best level and not scoring, I think it's beyond obvious for everyone, but he still is one of the best in this team regardless.
  18. Both are class players, and both would bring much needed qualities into the current squad. And by the way, it's not necessary to start insulting other members...
  19. Neuer may be the best, but his mistakes are often overlooked in my opinion. It sometimes looks like he has an immunity totem. Are you talking about this season? If yes Keylor Navas has to be in this ranking, he's been outstanding this season.
  20. Great analysis about Hazard's efficiency this season. http://www.espnfc.com/blog/tactics-and-analysis/67/post/2734634/eden-hazard-struggles-at-chelsea-not-entirely-his-fault
  21. It sets a dangerous precedent. What's the point of offering 30+ years old players only one-year contracts and offer a 29 years old a 4-year contract? A 2-year deal would have been more coherent with the way of the club in my opinion.
  22. How do you convince a CEO of an international company to part with £1/4 billion? This is how! (could not find it without the arab subtitles) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mApB1nu331s
  23. I'll go to church every sunday if we sign Muller.
