  1. I don't know the player well but he seems to be a real threat in front of the goal. I reckon this is the first time I fear Hazard might be going at the end of the season. Signing this guy in january and let him adapt to the BPL could be a good thing if Hazard was to leave.. Besides, I can see the board planning ahead and splashing cash this winter, in case we don't make it to the UCL next season.
  2. He's not at his best level that's for sure but you're being harsh on him IMO. The best displays we had offensively last season were all with Oscar in the line-up. The team only knows how to press when he's on the pitch thanks to his movement off the ball and understanding of the game. Personally I still believe in the guy and I'm confident he'll bounce back.
  3. And then there is Baba rotting on the bench. Can't understand José on that one.
  4. Fortunately, Liverpool is nowhere near that Dortmund, but this Chelsea is nowhere near the Madrid of Mou neither (obviously). This game will be decided upon details, really hope they'll be going our way this time. And one good point for us Benteke is out, and Origi should start which is good given the form he's in currently.
  5. What? Do you honestly believe he's not playing well on purpose? He's oviously short in terms of confidence, the way he took his penalty say it outloud, but come on man. I can't believe all the people taking a piss on him, he's been average for 10 games (no, he's not been shit) and you start insulting him. You should feel ashamed, show some support ffs!!
  6. Yeah, I'm beginning to figure it out. Not the first allusion I saw on this forum unfortunately.
  7. Sorry, but that's really poor argumenting...
  8. If the club was to sack José and If José really loves the club, he would refuse the said compensation package, THAT would be a proof of true love. But I guess this reasoning is weak and naive, my bad.
  9. Can you really not detect the sarcasm? The post is crying "second degree"...
  10. Because Hazard doesn't live up to his standards doesn't mean he's shit. Costa, Matic, and Ramires have been worse today.
  11. HAHAHA Mike in for Fabregas, wtf José!?
  12. *overoptimistic mode*: we still can win lads.
  13. Exactly, especially when he won it twice with the likes of Porto and Inter. I agree with you that it was no easy task to take on this team and live up to the standards put in place, but he still should have done better. About the new idea part, that's exactly why I'm so critical of him. Why change completely the direct style of this team, that was proven and utterly effective? It is one thing to motivate a team that won the treble, but he should have shown more adaptability, instead of trying to change this team to its core. This was his call, and only his. About the league, and of all leagues, the Bundesliga has been the less disputed the last few years, Bayern is alone on another planet, that's why it would have been a professional mistake to fail to win it. I believe he was recruited to "confirm" this european domination, and was not able to make it. It's harsh, and although he's done great things with Barcelona, he's not the genius people like to believe he is.
  14. Please, no Guardiola, please. What he has achieved in Barcelona was masterclass, he arguably put up one of the best team ever, and won a shitload of trophies, buit the past is the past. When he went to Munich, he inherited one of the most dominant team ever, the Bayern of Heynckes, which was so impressive and nearly impossible to beat (remember the 7-0 against Barcelona). Since then, what exactly has he achieved? He managed to "destroy" the best side of Europe at that moment (no doubt about it), and transform it into a way less effective team, altering the culture of the club by only bringing spanish players (with one or two exceptions) and implementing that tikitaka style that doesn't fit Bayern. Also, let's not talk about his need of playing his players out of their best position. He'd come, Fabregas would become a CB and Pedro a DM. I'm exagerating of course but you get the point. This man is such a hipster... He won the Bundesliga, as it would be expected, but failed everytime it mattered most, in the last stages of the CL. Lost lamentably against Real and Barcelona last year. Let's just stick with José and give him the time to turn things around.
  15. He's a bit deluded, nowhere near KDB in terms of talent. Great player though.
  16. Without a doubt our best player this season, indeed! I don't agree, it's been a real improvement when compared to the slow-paced Fabregas free-kicks that failed to bring danger. Willian whips them toward the goalkeeper what make them far more dangerous for the opposition than what Fabregas had used us to. Anyway, really happy we finally have a threathening free-kick taker.
  17. I don't follow you on that one, what do you mean?
  18. They want to go to Real Madrid for prestige, not money. Of course they are well paid, but he's already making a shitload of money, do you really think that would be the main reason he'd want to leave? I don't think so.
  19. Pogba is one of the most-hyped/overrated players ever IMO. The guy have flashes of brilliance, he can score a 30m volley screamer or do an elastico in the opponent's box but is inconsistent at what matters most. I've seen him miss easy passes and take inconsiderate risk by dribbling in front of his defence and loose the ball.. I don't know, I'm just not convinced at all. Last year, he was good because surrounded by class players as Vidal or Marchisio (which I think is on the contrary underrated), but now that he has to step up and confirm, he's not performing that well. It might just be a dip in his performances atm but I would not be suprised at all if he kept his current level, which is poor. I'm so happy he did not come, because without saying he would have been a flop, i'd rather spend the cash on Koke, or Verratti ( ), though it's seems impossible as I don't see why he'd leave Paris. I think one of those 2 players would really strenghten the squad and bring something new. Just go to Barcelona Paul, please.
  20. Not a big fan of KDB (although I'm Belgian, I know, weird right?) , but he's exactly what our team is missing right know, quality first intention plays. He does not think twice about taking a shot, a risky pass, or putting crosses into the box. I'm a big Hazard fan, but sometimes I would like him to play more direct and put more balls in the 16 yards, instead of slow things down and play backwards. The only players in the squad I deem capable of what KDB does are Fabregas and Oscar, but they're just not delivering at the moment, let alone playing for the latter.
  21. Given the outcome of West Ham matches this season is always the contrary of what is expected, we'll win!
  22. Why some people here assume some fans aren't real? The only thing all people posting on this forum have in commun is their love for Chelsea. Those kind of posts are so stupid..
  23. Zouma cought again there... Ivanesque defending
  24. WTF the BT commentator keeps on saying Courtois instead of Begovic
