I was surprised to see Zhirkov get his deserved start. I wouldn't go as far as saying Drogba deserves a start cause it's more down to Anelka's inconcistency. Ivanovic was probably dropped because he's got too many yellos cards and we don't want to risk him getting one against Blackpool.
Same here. Actually I'll be livid if we get anything less than 3 points. We've developed a habit of throwing away games after great results but we cannot afford it now. If we fuck this up Ashley should start shooting everyone.
Bringing it to (reportedly) the level of established top English (or even European) academies is admirable no matter the resources he had.I'm not exactly sober atm so you'll have to excuse any glaring grammatical, syntactic or logical mistakes

Hear, hear Anyway this is obviously pointless although I have to admit that I underrated his football intelligence. He showed many signs of being bright yesterday.
Delighted with the result and the 2nd half performance. David Luiz is well on his way to become a fan favourite and even scored before Torres. He's got all the qualities Carvalho had, including cheating and escaping some ref decision, and even more! Ramires had his usual good game but this time it was against a top team therefore I must say I'm more than impressed. 4-4-2 worked better than I expected despite Anelka dropping deep again for no reason. Our CBs and Ramires have to put double shift for it to work (to do the stuff Mikel usually does) but it's been a positive surprise. Carletto's subs were spot-on (for a change) as Zhirkov had a great game and even Drogba looked like he's alive. Bosignwa for Luiz made absolute sense too. I'm sure a lot of Mancs will whine about the refereeing and it kinda makes the result better because it's them. For the record, Luiz could have been sent off and our pen may have been somewhat "soft" but it was a penalty. I haven't seen the disallowed Torres goal or their penalty appeal yet so I can't comment on those. Those last 5 days have been perfect for Chelsea fans.
