If he's part of any deal for a mifielder I don't see how anyone can complain, if that midfielder is Modric then Benayoun helped the club more than most players that got his minutes. Naughty.. but you're not the only one who thought of that.

It's easy (and possibly fair) criticizing the club in hindsight but back when the move happened you could count the sceptical forum users on the fingers of one hand.

I generally prefer more "central" players wearing the armband but at the moment Cech looks like the best candidate with Brana being the second option and Mikel one for the (unknown) distant future.

Heh I've watched only 3 halfs of Chelsea football since the season started and I could name quite a few changes. Moaning about team selection is acceptable (and expected) but ignoring facts to strengthen your arguement is not.

Voted for Ramires while Mata was also excellent. If I had to pick our worst performer I'd name any of our attacking players in the first half, Mikel and Bosingwa..

I agree, the penalty was as much his creation as Ramires'. Maybe now that we have another technical attacking player he will pass the ball and combine more often/better instead of trying to dribble past everyone.

If we're gonna stick with that high line David Luiz is vital.

Sturridge and Mata could liven up our play the way Duffer and Robben did. Just stay away from the 4-4-2 Hope Drogba is OK, the club should provide frequent updates on his condition.
