These riots in the western "democratic" world have so many similarities that after observing them for a certain amount of time you aren't shocked by what is happening and have to think beyond simply restoring "order".

Funny you mention that. Back then, with Christmas approaching and the center of Athens burning, the mainstream media concentrated on the various cases of shops being looted and ransacked. While the rioters were burning banks, fighting the police and destroying the window displays of stores in the most expensive area of Athens a second group consisting mostly of people who couldn't care less about the riots were busy with plundering the stores and transferring the goods. The illegal "black" market of Athens flourished for a couple of months after the events but in a country with history of police aggression it was imo less important than the reasons behind the riot.

Sounds somewhat similar to the incident that ignited the December 2008 riots in Greece.

^Touche Jim, wouldn't it be better if the Report, Multiquote and Quote buttons were less noticeable? Maybe removing the text from the first 2 (don't see why that wouldn't work) of making the blue a little bit lighter would make a difference. I think the way it is now it takes the eye too much off the actual post. Also the reputation area of the post is now over one's signature while I think before it was in a fixed area, think I preferred that. I could say the "Vote up" and "Vote down" are also a bit more visible than they should be but they're very well designed, I'd like it if you could make them less "striking" (becoming normal upon a mouse-hover).

Bout time this one ended. As much as we don't need him now I'm sure that buying him before his pricetag reaches silly levels like 40m is only good business. Still have questions about his actual potential but we'll have more than enough time to assess it.
