John Terry to sit out Chelsea v Sunderland match following injury in training. Our defence will be Ferreira, Bane, Alex, A.Cole. Bosingwa-Ferreira-Ivanovic-Cole Jacopo Sala will be on the bench.
Concidering our history with Porto and the Portuguese market and the fact that their manager is a former employee of Chelsea FC anything is possible but the article lost any sort of credibility with the last sentence.
Surprised...to say the least. Ray had a great relationship with Carlo and I doubt he has anything to do with Ray being sacked. Wonder who'll replace him, Zola is a good shout but I doubt he'll like being an assistant manager again. Could be a CA man like Maldini or Demichelis...
Mikel was Nigeria's finest talent when he came to us. He was one of the most promising attacking midfielders which is why we fought United to get him as they wanted him to replace Scholes. He was the 2nd most impressive player at the Fifa Youth World Championship being second only to Messi. Him being little more than a passenger until just a year ago doesn't give us or him any credit. Maybe it was Jose who ruined him but he didn't show enough signs of fulfilling his huge potential until his fourth season with us, in the meantime we've all seen what has Barcelona turned Messi into. Mikel may turn into the next Maka/Pirlo but at the moment it looks like we wasted a huge talent.
I avoided the forum for a reason but I can't say I care as much about the result after learning about Drogba's illness. Everything I wanted to say has been mentioned and I just want to point out some things. We lost due our weak midfield, talks of the Scousers wanting the game more than us is pure bull.Playing a winger as a central midfielder alongside Ramires (who clearly takes too much time getting into games) would be catastrophic even against shit sides and the game against Liverpool proved it.Can't blame CA because he had no viable alternatives but those are the risks of having a tiny squad and in such games the likes of McEachran and Kakuta have to prove that they're squad players and not kids getting time in finished games.I ain't going to complain about injuries as we're not Gooners but I hope the next time Ancelotti faces such important problems we'll be a better side. Seeing the midfield we lined was worse than Turnbull in goal.God I hate that transvestite. I don't buy the "We're top of the league" argument at the moment as 2 points mean sod all but we can and will get some distance in the coming weeks.
Earls Court is ideal in terms of access and being so close to the Bridge, there really aren't any better alternatives without leaving the area and I'll be massively disappointed if we let this opportunity slip. It's a shame the club denied everything so swiftly.
