  1. :lol:Priceless! Come on, You can do better than that! Edit: Ah to hell with it, just for the sake of arguing That's exactly the kind of pathetic argument some used to defend Benayoun's transfer, Carlo came out and proved them wrong by admitting, what everyone with half a brain knew since he came, he's a head coach that has to do with what he has available. He doesn't have full control of either our transfer wallet or the size of his squad. Knowing CA's soft spot for experience and the fact that he's short of fit options upfront Kalou is likely getting games because our front 3 need rest and Danny isn't experienced enough. I've no doubt that if Ancelotti had someone with enough experience to be deemed usable Kalou would rarely get on the bench. Last season when our squad was bigger and Ancelotti had more options Kalou started just 16 games in the League and the CL, he had less starts than under any other Chelsea Manager.
  2. Sigh. This is going nowhere..Define a football fact and I may give it a go.
  3. We've already been through your FACHTS thing..
  4. I don't see why anyone would start a thread about it. If you can't spot 10 reasons why I don't rate this so-called improved Kalou from his recent performance against Birmingham there's no point of having this discussion.
  5. Exactly.Do you see me complaining whenever Ferreira gets picked or has a bad game (like against Sunderland) ? I appreciate what he offers to the team and don't complain about him having a bad game cause I know what he's capable of and what he's given us all those years. So knowing and pointing out a player's weaknesses even though you don't hate him doesn't make sense?Come on lets be honest here, was my remark about him being one of our 3 worst senior players really wide off the mark? I did but his contribution last night has been overblown here, I didn't see him being the tremendous threat he was after our 1st goal was scored. And even if he had outperformed Messi last night would one (1) game really change your opinion about a player?
  6. No shit! Not even close. But even if he was that would be saying something about our dribblers. Diaby may be a beast of power at Arsenal but he's still a pussy by our standards. Which by itself means nothing, we've certainly done fine without "dribblers" who take players on . I've given him credit for that numerous times, doesn't really help him when he kicks the ball to row Z in front of an empty goal thoughI've congratulated him every single time he has had a genuinely good game unlike you who tend to just not comment whenever he's playing like a headless chicken. Should've named this thread "Fans who're critical of our beloved Kalou" instead of complaining about fans who slate players who've been playing for us since August.
  7. He was so dreadful in the first place that every time that he has a decent game it's a success, not unlike Turnbull. Sure he was good for just a month or so during the last season and has some impressive stats this season but he's still easily one of our 3 worst senior players (Turnbull and Ferreira being the other 2). Turnbull has had some decent games, and I just haven't seen enough of him to completely write off the chances of him improving. His fuck-ups are highlighted because goalkeepers aren't allowed to make mistakes, Kalou on the other hand has had the privilege of playing woefully and being carried by some world-class teammates for most of his Chelsea career. I wouldn't be willing to risk playing him but I've seen some horrible goalkeepers having decent careers.
  8. Ditto, we're either expecting too much from Kakuta or we're being lenient with Josh cause he's young, homegrown et al. In my opinion Josh was just as "bad" as Kakuta was in the first half.
  9. IMO Kalou is the only one that deserves his current reputation. I can defend each and every single one of our players, Turnbull included, but Kalou has been building his reputation for years now.
  10. He's somehow behind Salomon Kalou in the pecking order. However they are both covering for players that are 32,31 and 30 years old. Ancelotti doesn't rotate them but he'll be forced to play either Daniel or Salomon sooner or later as our main forwards will either get sick of playing unfit or get injured, they'll both get enough games.
  11. Significant improvement? I think you're being too kind. Either that or you thought he was horseshit when he came.
  12. I can agree with the highlighted. The rest are just assumptions.
  13. This must be the first time I agree with TC's MotM Re:PvA He definitely is quite good at attacking but I'm still unconvinced by his defending skills. He was rarely busy and let one of their attackers walk into our box.
  14. Kalou had a great game and made things happen but it has to be said that Zilina just sat back in the 2nd half making it much easier for some of our wingers, Ramires and McEachran. I have the impression that Kakuta was man-marked for much of the first half, in any case he was playing much more centrally and like most of our central players had to deal with Zilina's pressure.
  15. Sturridge is HUNGRY.I'd love to see him start. I know that Carlo is going to play it safe though.
  16. On the other hand our supporters were firmly owned by the Zilina traveling fans.
  17. Game won but we should've scored more. Especially Drogba and Danny.
  18. Louda !!! Now please let Didier have one
  19. +1Could have been Drogba, things just aren't going his way at the moment.
  20. Ramires and Kalou seeing much of the ball and getting involved.
  21. Ramires does well to break up a counter. Having Josh and Ivanovic playing higher up the pitch can cost us on a counterattack.
