  1. Kepa was terrible. The whole defense is S**t! We absolutely need a CB and goalkeeper
  2. In short, if we lost, Manu and Wolves would be 2 points behind us, not yo mention Spurs. I we draw, a mere 3 points. Scary
  3. My view: Players with contract not to be renewed Pedro, Willian Around: 10 $m+ saved per year. Players to sell Batshuayi, Emerson, Barkley, Christensen, Zouma, Zappacosta, Bakayoko, Moses, Drinkwater. Around 120 $m+ as sales values + potentially Jorginho who did not convince to compete at the highest level. Players to buy as priorities Experienced central back and left-back; the new John Terry, or the equivalent of Virgil Van Dijk / Joe Cole. Kai would be welcomed but not at the cost of selling Kante. .
  4. Christian Pulisic is a goal machine. He is only 21 and it is his first year in PL.
  5. It was difficult but we deserved the 3 points.
  6. Man utd, Arsenal, Spurs, and Leicester all dropped some points. We have to win this again game at Villa Park!
  7. We are on a large spending spree with two top attacking players / strikers already been bought: Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner. It seems that other top class players will be bought, with highly talented midfield Kai Harvetz as one of our main target. What we are missing is a world class left-back defender I would say. But how good is it to have Chelsea making our ambitions so clear to compete for PL and CL again while other PL and European teams are struggling with finance to hire new players!
  8. Why do Chelsea do not put on sales mouth masks with our club colors like other europeans clubs? Example: https://www.rsca.be/fr/mouthmasks
  9. Speculation? Likely event I would say. PL is already on hold and we are at the very beginning of the pandemic if I read correctly the statements from Macron, Conte, Merkel with dozens of millions to be infected in the coming months. Hope they are wrong. But I do not believe they are all idiots. Even Trump, who denied for long, has now declared state of emergency.
  10. Thank you. "Last seasons standings", this is also the view of Aulas, the very influential (in France) chairman of Lyon football club. If some other players/managers got infected, this season is definitely void.
  11. I am living in Belgium, here like in France it is lock-down until a least Easter and as from today. Difficult to imagine that England will escape. Wouldn't that be the case, with the PL abandoned, would Chelsea be qualified for the CL next season as we are now 4th? Any thoughts? Thank you!
  12. Watched PSG-Dortmund yesterday. It is really at the top level during CL or WC matches that we can better assess the quality of a player. And I can say that this guy Sancho was pretty average, and well below PSG players. He is nowhere near a valuation of 100£. Maybe 50£ at best.
  13. Giroud, Mount, Pedro, Willian have been immense today!
  14. Instead of splashing 100m on Sancho I would prefer we transfer 1 or 2 class defenders - especially to replace the likes of Alonso/Zouma.
  15. They have taken vitamins before the game or what?
  16. Good question! Tbh, I do not understand why we have some many injured players and why it takes so long for them to return to first team (except RLC). There is obviously something wrong happening here if you ask me.
  17. It would be great if we sign that top class player !
  18. To boost revenues in the long-term, we would need a new stadium - when built it would translate into around additional 1million £ per game or 30£m per season (very approximately). Fairly significant anyway. But in the short to medium term, it would mean lack of large cash for transfers since cash will be partially used to pay back loans; as experienced by Arsenal and Spurs. And if it leads to missing champions league, it could turn out as a negative vicious circle. On the other hand, Stanford Bridge is dating, and supporters need better facilities, not to mention that demand for seats is larger than the current offer, which is frustrating for those wanting to attend games but can't do so. Maybe, one option is to start building the new stadium when we have a stable and competitive team for the next 3-5 years or so, leveraging our new talents from the academy, thereby requiring less cash to be invested into new expensive transfers. What we need now is 2/3 very experienced world-class players to strengthen the team. And then we are good. My guess is that this is the strategy of the Board. At least I hope so.
  19. Come on guys, Reece James was pretty good during that game - check player ratings as case in point, and do not forget CHO is 19 and just back from serious injury. Be patient.
  20. It could have been better. But we had ball possession and most important... we won! That was not a ripp-off. Lamps has made a crucial tactical change: credit to him. Some of lads are (very) young and need time to learn. Some are injured, like RLC. Maybe we are sometimes too emotional here. After all, we are in 4th position in the league after selling Hazard banned from any transfer. Looking forward, we have that transfer window to buy top-class experienced players. 2/3 would be enough. Come on CHELSEA!
