No worries. He was in Monaco today to sign contract extension with his agent while Chelsea was finalizing paperworks together with Inter. Tomorrow he will be in London to sign his contract and official announcement will be made on Thursday or Friday this week.

I also have some doubt about Lukaku and transfer fees is insane. But who else? Mbappe and Haaland are not for sale. Lewandowski and Benzema are aging and not for sale either. Spurs won't let go Kane unless for a much higher amount. Lukaku knows the PL and he has a proven track record. If we want to compete for the title and CL, we need a top striker, and Lukaku can play that role. He is 28 only, at the best of his career, he did not suffer significant injuries, he will bully the defenders. I agree with comments. But again, who else as a top class striker?

Don't we need an additional top-class central midfielder: we have only 3 of them with Kante, Jorginho, and Kovacic.

It looks like a pretty much done deal. Lukaku wants to play into a top club to win trophies and that won't happen any time soon with Inter Milan given financial difficulties they face. Besides he want to take it revenge in the PL. And its wage will be increased by 40% or so. Personal agreements seem to have been agreed 2 weeks ago or so. It all remains to convince Inter Milan and not to over-pay. Marina knows how to make it. We need a class striker - Werner somehow failed - and Lukaku can make it but I am not convinced by that player - sometimes brainless. Hopefully he did improve over the last few years to be smarter in his moves and strikers.

Why does the club want to sell him? He is young and talented. Could someone explain?

No chance to land Mbappé, Haaland or Lukaku. Harry Kane has my preference.

Good decision. Either he will still be in the squad. Remind that he scored decisive goals this season especially in the CL and will continue teaching younger players with his exceptional professional standards. Or he will be transferred with a fee. All good for Chelsea in any cases.

Havertz is an average player in the PL. I still do not understand why we splashed 80 millions on him.

Rudiger is all over the place to save us. Azpi seems to be lost. We would need a clinical striker, like Giroud.

Mount, Werner, and CHO are performing better. They are all first choice for Tuchel. But at the some point, he will need to rotate the team and Pulisic will get its chance to prove himself.
