  1. It certainly takes that long for Journalists to speculate that's for sure.
  2. Basically the press haven't got a fucking clue what is going on then. I think patience is required because next to nothing has happened so far with other clubs yet either, let alone us. The world cup years always come with non-stop rumours with very little substance or legitimacy. Next week it is obvious we will hear more.
  3. People seem to take what every so called "reliable" journalist says for gospel. Negotiations for any coach or player would not be public info. A lot of the time they're going off of maybe 10% of info given to them. I remember reading a while ago that 8 out of 10 rumoured stories are bullshit.
  4. What makes Tolisso better than Mount or RLC? Nothing apart from having more experience playing at that level. This is why RLC and Mount need to be back at the club, training and playing with us. The same for Bailey, he has more experience than say Musonda or Hudson-Odoi, but is it better? I don't personally think so. Give our own youngsters the minutes he has had and they would likely have the same hype.
  5. What is this nonsense about the new stadium, why are people constantly talking about the new stadium as if it will give them special powers and make them invincible. They haven't won fuck all for years. Their best chance was when they were still at WHL two/three seasons ago. What is going to change for them moving into a new stadium? If they aren't competing now, what makes anyone think they will suddenly start doing so now? Especially with Liverpool, Utd, City and maybe us getting stronger.
  6. Slipping behind our rivals how? We won the FA Cup this season and the league the season before. Only City have won the league. The other "rivals" have won fuck all. All they've done is win the trophy for taking part in the CL. Woopdiwoo!
  7. How do the press even know this stuff? It seems they're speculating as usual.
  8. Zidane said he won't be coaching next season. Probably take a sabbatical.
  9. Liverpool gotta win something next season, no excuses. We've heard excuses from them for the past two seasons and they have won fuck all. If they don't win trophies next season, the media needs to get on Klopp's back about it.
  10. They better win something soon then. Next season by all accounts they will have the greatest team that's ever been assembled. If they win fuck all next season, Klopp has been there all this time and is no closer to winning anything.
  11. It's a lot for a guy who whined for 2/3 of the season and had zero plan B for most it too. Makes you wonder why some coaches are paid so much money.
  12. I've learned to not pay much attention to Matt Law, Simon Phillips and that Nazaar guy. They all know about as much as us. Seriously, I find the arrogance of some of the jounalists in this country more irritating, like they think they know everything about the club. They likely get fed about 10% of the inside info, if that.
  13. I read this part from a Sarri article: "Empoli’s team had consisted of a number of youngsters, and by no coincidence. “At Empoli youngsters grow as a result of their mistakes,” Sarri said, a man who prides himself on developing players individually, and with care. The likes of Simone Verdi, Daniele Rugani and Riccardo Saponara all grew tremendously under Sarri’s tutorship. It is an area in which he invests a great deal of time."
  14. You seriously think we can challenge next season with Conte at the helm? What's he gonna change? He doesn't have a plan B any more. We have been outplayed by Spurs and City at home and away, and that poor Arsenal side even outplayed us at times. If we were to challenge, I don't think Conte is the right man any longer.
  15. Of course it isn't. Roman can't get in the country at the moment. He will have ordered somebody else to plan talks with Conte most likely. Also, probably wating on Napoli and Sarri to make a decision. Napoli seem to have signed Carlo, so if that's the case then expect more movement in the next 24 hours.
  16. I think it would be a bad idea to keep him. As good as he did last season, this season has been atrocious and I don't see it being any better next season. His transfer targets are not great either.
  17. How they know that when Chelsea are in lockdown right now and giving very little info away.
  18. Liverpool bringing in some decent signings. Jury is still out on this guy, but will probably fit in well for Liverpool's system.
  19. I mean Morata isn't small and he went down easy this season. A player will adapt to the physical demands of the league if needs be and some players are stronger than they look. Plenty players who aren't that physically strong but they cope well in the league.
  20. We keep him on loan until he has an off season and then claim he's not good enough. These constant loans really only do good for development for one or two seasons, but beyond that it is pointless. While Mount performing so well and confidence is high, it's best time to bring him back to the squad imo. If we must loan him, then loan him to a team in one of the top leagues such as La Liga or Serie A, or to a club here in England. We have seen proof of what happens when you keep a player on loan for too long with the likes of Chalobah, Baker, Musonda, McCreacran etc, they stagnate and eventually their career goes nowhere.
  21. Or clubs like City and Utd throw a ton of money at the problem and see if it sticks. If you scout well enough there's no reason to pay out loads of money. Also, we have a myriad of young talent, some of which are on loan currently. Frustrates me why people always want us to pay out ungodly amounts of money on young, unproven talent when we have our own.
