Some people and traditions shave their head off before the start of something major in their life. Like a new club?
-
I'm not sure if Boga is good enough to compete for places just yet, maybe we should loan him out somewhere where he can play day in and day out. Maybe one of the lower EPL teams would fancy having him?
-
Anyone know where I can find some Fabregas pictures from today to cut myself a new sig?
-
Torres though. I think we should pay someone to take him.
-
Does Costa ever smile? Decent finish though! Fabregas was the best player out there, superb through balls and we finally have someone to finish them off too. Brilliant stuff.

This one seems to be working http://www.liveonlinetv247.com/chelseatv.php

Anyone have any streams?

First glimpse of Matic and Fabregas in the pivot with Costa up front! So excited!
-
Atletico fans chanted his name during the unveiling of Mandzukic Talk about being ungrateful! But I really think this is the only chance we have of getting anything for Torres, sell him off to Atleti as soon as possible!
-
Cavani is far more proven than Costa at the moment and at the time might have been a good buy at a good price. However, makes no sense anymore.

The US pressure is one of the major reason an operation was carried out in the first place. The war was escalated because of Pakistan allying with the USA and its these very groups the US has tried to eliminate through drone strikes. So I doubt the US has many reservations about the situation. Ofcourse, no one knows what goes on behind the doors in the corridors of power! Hidden agendas are everywhere, but I'd rather not dwell on conspiracy theories yet. Exactly. We've been trying ideological reform with a decade of 'moderate enlightenment'. But the lack of government control and illiteracy in remote areas of the country makes that a very difficult task and all we've done is widened the urban-rural social and ideological divide.

The Afghan Taliban and Pakistani Taliban are different factions, the northern regions of Pakistan have little writ of the state, and the bigger picture is an emirate carved out from that region and areas of Afghanistan. Pakistan, being a nuclear-power and one of the biggest military force in the world, has had a complex relationship with them. The Military used these people in proxy wars over the years, and they've sort of turned rogue and have an agenda of their own (or foreign backed if you agree with a segment). They've been responsible for thousands of deaths all over the country. In the recent dialogue we tried they wanted us to impose their version of Shariah in the country, the contention has now led to a full scale war. The problem is, the Taliban too have weapons and funding from various sources. Pakistan has it's share of enemies.

Keeping the middle east on the side for a second, has anyone been following the war going in Pakistan right now? The military has launched an offensive against the Taliban, the biggest in scale since 9/11, I wrote a random blogpost about it earlier if anyone wants to read it: http://my.telegraph.co.uk/alirafi/alirafi/10/pakistan-on-the-brink/ I don't think there has been much international coverage of this, although I can understand given the middle east crisis.

As a Pakistani I've protested and condemned every single one of those things. Do I have your blessing to continue supporting my opinion? Two wrong's do not make a right. Just because someone else somewhere else did something just as, or more, terrible does not negate or downplay the massacre Israel is carrying out. Atleast, even the defenders of the Israeli apartheid system are equating Israel's actions to those of the rest of the people mentioned in that quote. Oh and thousands in Pakistan, not hundreds.

Exactly. Dehumanizing the enemy is the first and foremost step in any war, that's how you win the PR side of it and get people to back you unconditionally and Israel has been doing it very very well for years.

Media reporting has been pretty disgusting. It's the small things like how they'll say one israeli killed as a headline and put "300 Palestinian militants dead" in the sub-heading. Or also how the BBC fails to report the hundreds of thousands of people protesting all over Europe, including London!

A season at Vitesse seems like a good move.

THE LEGEND IS BACK! Super super excited to see him slot home an injury-time winner at the Emirates all over again!
-
I highly doubt Romeu will be leaving given the fact he was just given a contract extension. Jose clearly wants him at the club.
-
Really shocked by the coverage some of the British and American news channels have been giving. It's pretty clear that Palestinian lives have little or no value in comparison to Israeli lives for most of these media outlets. Losing my faith in humanity every time someone tries to justifies the massacre Israel is causing.

What a let-down! Was really exciting about seeing Costa and Cesc! Oh well, come on Chelsea!
-
Get that too. Finally going to watch a Chelsea match on TV after ages! Brilliant.

Which channel mate? Star/ESPN/TenSports showing it?
