At least there is Matic. Oscar nowhere to be seen and that's good. Would've liked to see Rlc or Traoré starting but oh well. Nice lineup otherwise.

"hoopla" He is right though. In one season we gave gave chances to Rlc, Traoré and Kenedy. That's a pretty good record. If next season we can give the same amount of minutes or more to another 2-3 players it'll be fantastic.

Two things i'm sure of, Conte won't use the 3-5-2 nor the 4-2-3-1. At least not willingly.

Defensively is the only way this team can play successfully, or at least could play successfully until a year ago. Similarly to what you say, sacrificing our defensive stability for our offensive would be an even bigger mistake. Hence why Kenedy won't cut it as a regular starter. We need a proper lb, one able to defend as well as attack if that wasn't clear enough.

He is a B2B, at least that's how i see him. Fast, Strong, can tackle, can pass, has driving runs forward. His problem is his stamina and his involvement when the team has the ball. That's why he looks lazy as fuck.

I haven't watched United too often, but i've been surprised by Schneiderlin's ability to disappear from matches, Schweinsteiger has been an on and off, midfield-wise id' say they are about the same level as us and that's not flattering. I would say they have better players in defence than us, while we have a better attack, the difference between the two teams is not huge, but they could, just like us or worse, implode at any given moment. No doubt they'll be back in the top 4 next season with the right buys.

Some of the comments about him are really fun though "Cheque book manager." or "At this level of football he amounts to nothing." between others. United are in a worse shape than us the way i see it, they need a major rebuilding in every area of the pitch, will be interesting to see if he sticks to 4-2-3-1 or will finally snap out of it, who will want to buy, so on and so forth. I expect a lot of the amateur managers on this board to suddenly disappear from this thread the moment he signs some major player, or maybe they will faintly moan "Cheque book manager." their faces green with envy. All that was needed to be said, really. This club right now needs defensive stability. You can't have a Kenedy in big games making silly mistakes, i'm all for taking him as second choice though, him or Aké.

Fairy ass ain't fit to lace Pirlo's boots. But given the fact the no other club (smart club) will want him, i guess he'll be staying here for the foreseeable future. None of Aké, Kenedy and Baba are fit enough to be starters. Pick one and make him second choice to a proper LB, so one between Aké and Baba will have to go out on loan.

If he was watching the game he must be drinking by now Maybe some light drugs in the mix as well.
