I would reply to this, but then you would have to read twice, just in a far less articulate fashion, OhForAGreavsie's post. As I've said a few times, he has the potential to be world class on his day, just like tonight, and even better than tonight if he would push himself harder. It just doesn't happen consistently, he has had very good performances with us, but also those, and I'm not talking only about the past season, where I was left hugely disappointed. Not to mention he's yet to show up in the CL.

Aside from that season (and even that season he started slowly, too slowly for a top top player.) he has never consistently performed on the highest level like he did tonight, He has yet to do this in the CL. And I still think he can perform even better than tonight if he would push himself harder. Then again I don't regularly lick his ass and wear red-tinted glasses.

Too bad he doesn't perform like this on a regular basis.
