Totally agree and I mentioned it before but we could quite easily get into a Scottish league scenario where one team dominates or for old geezers like me back to Liverpool in the 70's -80's. Your're right about the fee but it doesn't mean he won't be replaced. If he doesn't start against United then his days as number one are over.

Kepa just hasn't got the minerals to be a top keeper and a goalkeeping coach can improve him but not to the level he needs to be. He's got no presence he doesn't command his area is always rooted to his goal line and the amount of times he's beaten by a long range shot or gets hands to the ball but can't prevent it going in is staggering. Posters are saying left back, centre forward etc well a new keeper is also a priority in the Summer.

Dale Jasper who played for us in the 80's died yesterday aged 56 only a couple of years older than me. It has to be said he's mainly remembered for giving away two penalties against Sunderland in the league cup semi final in 1985. He replaced Joe McLaughlin who got injured that night and big Joe and Colin Pates were such a good partnership it would have been hard to just slot in especially in such a big game .
