Coventry fans have been treated like shit by all concerned I feel really sorry for them. Good trivia question I saw Chelsea play three different clubs on the same ground Selhurst Park. Palace, Wimbledon and Charlton.

Saw his debut against Liverpool me and my mate got badly crushed in the Shed that day. To say he was eccentric was an understatement he was the first sweeper keeper. We were really shit back then and his first season we got relegated with only 20 points although he didn't sign till about March. We nearly got promoted in 1980 but after that the team and Borata went badly downhill the lowpoint was the 6-0 loss to Rotherham in 1981 there were rumours he was drunk that day and I'm not sure he played for us again.. He was often in the pub pretty soon after the final whistle when we were at home apparently. He's the definition of a cult hero and is remembered fondly by all us old boys he was a decent keeper and the first player I ever saw kick the ball out when an opposing player was lying down injured he got widely applauded in the media for that and rightly so.

Kepa is one bad mistake from getting the boo boy treatment or the ironic cheers when he makes a simple save. There were a lot of mumerings on Tuesday night but they will only get louder if his form continues. Some people don't like booing me I've got no problem with it when a pampered millionaire is not doing his job properly he should be told in no uncertain terms.

There's a new drinking game being played. You take a shot every time Man United do it's called dry January

Only 10 points between us in fourth and the Geordies in 14th utter dross in the PL bar the top two no getting away from it.
-
Again there's references to Klopp, Poch and Pep they have absolutely nothing to do with us and our current plight. These lazy comparisons mean fuck all the only thing that matters is the here and now and we're struggling badly. Since the start of the new year we've had two straightforward wins against a struggling Burnley and championship Forest, on the other side of the coin the tedious draw against Brighton, Newcastle where we never looked like scoring and the less said about last night's fucking fiasco the better.
-
Three clean sheets in fifteen in all competitions is diabolical and with some of the games we've got coming up this stat won't improve.
-
For me that goal by Sturridge great shot but he's slow getting into position.
-
Jesus what a panel Morrison and Merson two of the thickest footballers ever and that's saying something. They should start a double act and call themselves Laurel and Retardy.
-
Good post and makes perfect sense but it's Chelsea and we are so unpredictable that anything could happen.
-
To many ifs and buts to be honest. The stand out player is Reece the rest and I am factoring in their age are not guarantees I hope they are.
-
Well I can't see anyone challenging the top two certainly for the next couple of seasons. Klopp is going nowhere Pep questionable how long he'll stay but if Lampard leaves or gets sacked who's to say that the next manager will play the youngsters. Golden ticket no bronze maybe Tammy and Mount are out of form, CHO the jury is out, Tomori dropped recently only Reece James looks like he's going to be a permanent fixture whoever is in charge. Not sure about the last sentence to be honest Tomo you'll have to expand on that.

Those days of the blank chequebook are over it's all down to spending whatever money is available wisely. Liverpool and City won't be caught for the next 5-10 years they are going to dominate English football it's a massive catch up process for everyone else. Just take the weekend results we lose, Leicester lose, Arsenal draw, Spurs draw and Liverpool piss all over United there's no one within a mile of the top two and I can't see that changing.

Roy Keane football's biggest misanthrope this is a man when he was Sunderland manager held a barbeque and didn't talk to any of his players or wives ! has clashed with professional scouser Jamie Carragher. Now normally I would take no notice of the whiney twat but I actually think he's got a point. OGS has been getting a lot of stick from the media yet as Keane pointed out Lampard is getting none quite the opposite in fact. Of course Lamps did walk into a job where he knew our best player had gone and the transfer ban was imposed but he took the job so he was well aware of he task he faced. Halfway through the season and even though we're fourth lets be honest it's down to everyone else being woeful. Eight defeats when you look at them it's extremely worrying 4-0 against Man United (don't mention how unlucky we were please it's still a bad defeat) Liverpool and City then when you look at defeats to West Ham, Southampton, Bournemouth, Newcastle, Everton five mid table-lower placed teams that's piss poor no denying it. A lot of my mates are confident we'll beat Arsenal comfortably tomorrow I'm not so sure if the likes of Bournemouth and Southampton and fucking West Ham can beat us at the Bridge then Arsenal are more than capable of doing it.

The league went right to the wire last season mid January and Liverpool are 16 points clear with a game in hand. For me it shows how little quality there is and we could end up with a Scottish scenario where two clubs dominate. There is a chasm of a gap where Liverpool and City are compared to everyone else and I can't see anyone getting near them and that most definitely includes us.
-
It all depends on the manner of the defeats (if they happen). If we're beaten comprehensively in some of these matches then I think Lampard will be under real pressure especially if we don't buy anyone. We as fans have to take Lampard at face value forget his status at the club he has to be judged on the teams performances and they have been in large pretty woeful. They are a horrendous set of fixtures coming up and I'm pretty sure most of us are concerned. Eight defeats in the league and still in fourth sums up how overrated the premier league is the lack of quality apart from the mickey mousers and City is startling. Those defeats against the lower clubs are going to kick us in the bollocks because we can't rely on other teams performing as badly as us with the set of fixtures we have coming up.
-
I've said it on here before he's our worse keeper since Dave Beasant and he looks like Dutch from The Shield.
-
This might be a perverse thing to say but I hope the media start putting pressure on Lampard because I'm pretty sure he thinks he's fireproof. There is and I'm sorry but it has to be said a self satisfied vibe about Lampard he's been getting praise for the young players but they are now as stale as last weeks bread and it's beginning to show. We've had some horrendous results this season I'm not expecting us to win every game but today was another awful performance and it's a worrying trend. Lets not forget before the sendings off Ajax were 4-1 up with no fans in the ground and were pissing on us we were turgid against Valencia and extremely lucky in the second leg.I'm really not looking forward to the Bayern games in fact I'm bricking it we could easily get a Spurs type caning. He's got to go into the market it's obvious to everyone our only saving grace is everyone around is equally as shit.
-
Maybe recently but nothing beats what Clough did with Forest. He got them promoted with us in 77 to then win two leagues and two european cups with a team of journeymen was nothing short of miraculous especially considering how dominant Liverpool were then.

If Willian won’t take a 1-year deal, then so be it

Of course they do ! Every club in England and on every football forum fans have a go at the board and players it's part and parcel of being a fan.. Arsenal fans hate their board, Man United fans hate the Glaziers, West Ham fans hate the dildo brothers there's been demos at recent matches. Arsenal fans booed Xhaka off the pitch recently. Kenyon was hated by nearly all Chelsea fans
