  1. Joey Barton to be punished less harshly than man who ate a pie The FA has confirmed that eating a Cornish Pasty will damage your career more than common assault, placing thousands of bets and taking diving lessons off Tom Daley. Speaking to reporters, a spokesman for the FA said that having a laugh the one time in your life the cameras are on you brings the good name and reputation of Association Football into disrepute far more than Actual Bodily Harm on a teammate. Barton, who is hotly tipped to represent England on the 3m diving board at the 2018 Commonwealth games, has twice been convicted of assault without his career being overly derailed – leaving some fans wondering if the fate meted out to Wayne Shaw may not have been a little harsh. “There’s a clear difference between Joey Barton and Wayne Shaw,” an FA spokesman to us. “Wayne is a harmless, friendly fat lad who we all feel comfortable bullying, while Joey is quite good at football and great for advertising revenues, merchandising and ticket sales. “Obviously, it would be entirely unreasonable for his career to be damaged for spending time in prison. “Besides, we’re all afraid he’ll twat us one next if we say anything.” Meanwhile, UEFA has confirmed that while Luis Suarez might have taken a bite out of three other players, taking a bite out of a pastry-wrapped mixture of cheap steak and potato on the telly is ‘clearly’ a more severe infraction and a career-ending offenc
  2. I had a Eddie McCreadie blue and white army silk scarf that I used to wear on my wrist. I still have the red away top that I bought for £3.65 !!!! in the supporters shop. My mum sewed the number nine on the back Steve Finneston being my favourite player at the time. I'll try and upload a picture of it.
  3. Looks like the Sutton keeper will have to find another way to earn a crust.
  4. You do realise what a glory hunter that makes you look ?. The F.A. cup is nice fucking hell it's the oldest cup competition in the world and you make it sound like it's meaningless but I suppose to people from outside England it is.
  5. A replay like they have done for the past 100 years. If a smaller club manages to hold one of the top six at home to a draw bang goes there chance of a big payday by going to the likes of the Bridge, Old Trafford the Emirates etc.
  6. No replays extra time and penalties not sure how I feel about that.
  7. Loks a real prospect young Nathan good on the ball good composure can see why Antonio brought him back.
  8. It was like the Wolves left back had a target on his back and fair play play to Victor he hit it every time.. A vampire wouldn't be nervous about a cross from Moses.
  9. Pretty sure Spurs will beat Genk in the second leg so it's not a terrible result. You are saying it reflects badly on English teams yet Liverpool were runners up last year. Even though we won it getting knocked out of one competition and put in another is just acknowledging failure. Spurs who I loathe have gone from playing Europe's elite at Wembley to playing also rans and this could put in jeopardy their top four finish with this and there still in the F.A.cup so fixtures pile up. If we had by some miracle qualified for the Europa league last season there would be apathy from our fans especially in the league stages where I imagine we would be playing in front of crowds of 25-30,000 unless tickets were massively reduced. Mourinho's final game in 2007 was a Champions league game played in front of 24,000 and I remember going to a Uefa cup game in 2002 where the crowd was 14,000.
  10. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has welcomed his team’s soon-to-be-confirmed exit from the Champions League, insisting it will give him and his team time to focus on excuses for their ongoing domestic failure. After a first leg 5-1 defeat to Bayern Munich, Arsenal are now left to focus on failing dismally in the premier league and FA Cup.
  11. His record is more or less one in two and he was a better finisher than Drogba although Drogba was the better all round player. Don't know what you mean by defence force. 16 million was cheap compared to 50 million on Torres and 32 million on Shevchenko who I can't honestly remembering ever having a good game. As for Torres he's just fucking hopeless although both him and Shevchenko were both carrying injuries when they signed and it's pretty clear they weren't Mourinho and Ancelotti signings which I imagine can't be great for a player's confidence.
  12. Can only think the person with the worst ever forum name Bernard NY Burgesson (he sounds like a retired colonel in the Trump administration) is about 12 years old Muz. Without being a grammar nazi have a look at his grammar and punctuation. Tammy Abrahams more prolific than Costa? he might as well have said Tammy Wynette.
  13. That's not true Crespo was on his day outstanding he just couldn't settle in London.
  14. Did you go yesterday BB because anyone who's ever been to Burnley comes back thinking fuck never again I can't take the bleakness . A mate of mine nearly moved to Burnley he saw an ad for a furnished flat the estate agent said '' There's the sofa and washing machine now if you would like to come inside !. Chin up son and keep the blue flag flying high.
  15. That looks like your worried your parents are going to catch you wanking.
  16. Such a twattish comment. Don't know if you noticed mate but last years champions are one point above the relegation zone.
  17. Just seen the interview with the special needs one on MOTD another thinly veiled dig at us. Absolutely pissed myself laughing when he says you have to play attacking football when your Man United manager didn't see much evidence of that when you played at Anfield mate.
  18. Fucking hell McManaman will never make an actor and I bet he would be a shit poker player. He could hardly contain his glee at the way the game panned out then again neither could I. The two teams with the most loathsome fans in the country
  19. Such a prick. Any decisions that go in his favour and there's been fucking plenty of those down the years he doesn't see like a Gallic Mr Magoo. Any ones against him and he's up in arms something that Bellerin couldn't manage but Alonso could and which he did fairly simply because he wanted it more.
  20. From about 1977 to about 94 the Northstand was full on only a few occasions by only a handful of teams. I would say Spurs, Man United (not always same as Liverpool) West Ham, Arsenal, Millwall, Boro play off game, Sheffield Utd cup match are all I remember seeing. QPR were given the whole end one year but it wasn't exactly rammed.
  21. Fair enough son. 1984 we took Highbury over 20,000 Chelsea packed in the Clock End it was a great day. Then in 1987 they gave just the corner bit we were absolutely fucking crushed similar thing at White Fart Lane the same season. I only found out a while ago after watching it on Youtube that they left a massive gap because of segregation you literally couldn't see fuck all and I'm 6ft 1. No football fan was that surprised when Hillsborough happened it was just a matter of time.
  22. Young ? you must have been practically a foetus. You used to go to Highbury for Chelsea away games from Holland sorry mate I find that hard to believe.
