The big issue with Inter is that we do not really want any of their players. Barella is the only great player there, considering age and he is not too keen leaving Italy. On top of that Enzo, Caicedo and Barella are too similar and none of them can be on the bench. It will be hard to shift Lukaku, but there is more than enough work to be done by the board this summer. We MUST get the right players in. Even if we get only 2-3 players, they have to be starters. We will have a lot less games and no world cup this time around, we need a tight group. If Inter don't cough up the millions and Poch does a bit of magic of motivating Lukaku, he could be a good option for a season or two. He is a proper striker and has an abundance of exp. The bad blood with the fanbase can be erased with a couple of goals after the season we had(at least in my opinion). If he does not want to be here, there is nothing we can do, but I am not in love with alternatves: - Vlahovic - possible catastrophe - Osimhen - mega millions and injury prone - Lautaro - no chance - The new Haalnd form Atalanta LOL - unproven and expensive - I like him the most - Toney - banned - David - I don't see anything in him - Kane - seriously?? Who else? Openda, who would have been a great buy for a back up, if we had a number 1 striker? Lukaku isn't that bad and can give us the points against the worst teams. We lost a lot of them this season.
