We really need to calm down. We played great until Antonio killed us. This is a very young team with a new manager. West Ham love to play with 10 men behind the ball and with missing the pen we gave them the opportunity to do exactly that. Not being able to score against 10 men is hard to find excuse for, but in my opinion the team needs to win a couple of games to start believing in themselves more. The only big problem I had yesterday was that Poch threw Caicedo in a game he was soo not ready for. You could clearly see he had no idea where to position himself, when and who to tackle, who to pass to. Very sad showing. Injuries are another massive problem that annoys me as f*ck. I am not sure what can we do about that, but I sure as hell hope our luck/strategy/doctors improve.

We have a good manager and a very good squad. The problem at the moment is that we have a series of fixtures that we 100% MUST win. Fofana is out for the season Nkunku for the half of it and now the captain is back on the treatment table. The narrative can easily become Chelsea spend money and are getting worse. On top of that we have about 10 players who should be sold or go out on loan, but we are not exactly sure what to do with many of them. A lot to figure out. The last 2 weeks of the summer transfer window are usually crazy and we are usually a big part of that. I hope we can get results on the pitch and don't turn panic mode on in the market.

I prefer a buy back clause than a sell on one. If he explodes up north Newcastle wont sell him. They are super rich and on the up. If he flops what is the point of a sell on. We will pocket up to 5 mil. At the end of the day 35 million pounds sounds reasonable for Hall.

Sanchez made one or two passes that stopped my breath, but his arial dominance was so so refreshing. I really hope that the new GK we get is tall and strong. I get how important is ball playing these days, but having a huge keeper is a must in my book.
-
No injury. Poch said after the match he was just tired. Struggled with the intensity of pre season after all the months missed last season. As it stands he is ready for West Ham.
-
Official statement on Nkunku. Undergone operation and out for an extended period of time. Really sad.
-
Nkunku’s injury is really unfortunate, but Poch needs to manage the situation and not let it go to the players heads. Let’s keep our spirits up. We need more information on the injury before making impulsive decisions. Let’s beat Pool and take it from there! Come on Chelsea!

Less pain if Tino shines for Newcastle rather than traditional rivals. Still I hope we don't regret letting him go.
-
When we complete the Caicedo deal the total sum paid to Brighton in 12 months will be above 200mil(Caicedo-Sanchez_Cucu-Potter&staff) In my opinion we should absolutely request our logo to be displayed on their shirt. 😄
-
Please no panic buys. Even if we don't make anymore signings it will be better than buying a player on big wages and have a familiar problem next season. I think we will be able to get between 70 and 76 points, which is enough for top 4 more often than not.
-
Sanchez, Disasi, Caicedo, Alvarez and one more attacking option(Kudus/Vlahovic/Olise) - IN Lukaku, Ziyech, CHO, Sarr, Chalobah and Broja(depending on incoming striker) - OUT Loans for Slonina, Humphries, Hall, Chuku, new french DM, Casadei and Angelo. This will complete a whole new squad in a matter of 14 months. Only players who were part of the 21-22 season will be Kepa, James, Chilly and Silva. Completely crazy 😮
-
If Caicedo is the main target and we are going for another mid on top I prefer Alvarez over Lavia. I do not think we have 1st team space for more u21 players. With Edson we will have one experienced player per line which is ok for now. Opening game vs pool looks tasty. Completely unpredictable first elevens. A lot of goals in both teams based on pre season. Can't wait! The new season feeling is awesome!
-
Hall is not and will not be a left back. We have Chilly and Cucu this season. Maatsen will play further forward in order to find a place for Cucu. If we can get rid of Cucu this or next summer it will be perfect, as physically he just does not fit at the moment.
-
Caicedo is the only player we MUST sigh as soon as possible. All other business will be decided after pre season. We have about 10 youngsters on the brink of the first team. Some will stay and some will go. Poch will make these important decisions. I hope we don't go into panic mode in the last two weeks of the window. We have a descent young squad and don't need to buy for the sake of buying.
-
When we sell young players to decent teams it benefits not only the books but the prestige of the academy. That’s how more players will want to be here. There is no club in England that has more than 4-5 players from their academy in their squad. The option of loaning them out relentlessly until we ruin their career was used until about 4 years ago. I believe it’s better for all sides. We can all agree that Poch has proven himself as a top manager. Let’s give him time and judge individuals mid to end season.
-
If Real Madrid get Mbappe and we somehow get Tchou I generally get Makelele vibes. He could be transformative for the whole squad even though he is a lot younger and lacking the XP.
-
Colwill has all the power on the negotiating table. He will push for guaranteed games and bigger salary. If he says “Come on Chelsea” he looses leverage. Two weeks from now we will know the truth.
-
There is another similarity. Chelsea does not pay their salaries. Hope it stays like that. Stay away vibes.
-
I guess our owners are about to exploit another loophole with all these youngsters. Probably something to do with the multi-club project. Let’s wait and see. About the point that we can’t win anything with a young squad I believe is rubbish. The thing missing is consistency, but some of these lads have ok experience and are about to build on it. As Poch said we need to be a team, a family first. If everyone is pulling in the same direction results will come faster than you think. KTBFFH!
-
Hakimi next. Let’s go LOL
-
Mudryk is a top top talent. You can’t find them better than him. Let’s hope Poch does well and improves him steadily into a monster!
-
Not sure I am in love with Cherki. He has an abundance of skill and I get where the comparisons with Hazard come from, but he loves to stop with the ball and "overplay" a bit. 9 times out of 10 players like that are very frustrating. All the talent in the world, but questionable end product. Hope I am wrong if we go for him and we get our hands on a even better player than Hazard.
-
Colwill dominated, Noni was alright and was involved in the goal. The new winger from Portugal had only ten minutes of play, but was not afraid to get on his man and beat him. Still very raw. You can watch France - Ukraine on uefa.com for free. Getting top 4 this season would be great but it more or less depends on the other top teams. Last seasons top 4 look good if not great and we have Pool outside it. Not that easy to break into even if we spend 10 billion. We should focus on building a team, identity and consistency. With hard work and a bit of luck we can have the season Arsenal just had. I don't believe their squad was superior to what we are assembling.
-
Since 2014 Germany is experiencing their worst period as a football nation on every level. I wouldn’t bet on a German to be pivotal player for a top team. Only notable exception from the whole generation is Kimmich.
-
We need 2 or 3 players to close the squad for next season, but the narrative we have sold our squad and replaced them with nothing is stupid. We have Colwill, Gusto, Nkunku and Jackson already in and probably Santos staying too. If we get Caicedo and another mid this is a brilliant transfer window.
