  1. Colwill dominated, Noni was alright and was involved in the goal. The new winger from Portugal had only ten minutes of play, but was not afraid to get on his man and beat him. Still very raw. You can watch France - Ukraine on uefa.com for free. Getting top 4 this season would be great but it more or less depends on the other top teams. Last seasons top 4 look good if not great and we have Pool outside it. Not that easy to break into even if we spend 10 billion. We should focus on building a team, identity and consistency. With hard work and a bit of luck we can have the season Arsenal just had. I don't believe their squad was superior to what we are assembling.
  2. Since 2014 Germany is experiencing their worst period as a football nation on every level. I wouldn’t bet on a German to be pivotal player for a top team. Only notable exception from the whole generation is Kimmich.
  3. We need 2 or 3 players to close the squad for next season, but the narrative we have sold our squad and replaced them with nothing is stupid. We have Colwill, Gusto, Nkunku and Jackson already in and probably Santos staying too. If we get Caicedo and another mid this is a brilliant transfer window.
  4. To be fair Potter should have stayed until the end of the season. The Lampard fiasco turned out as bad as possible.
  5. Fair play to Arsenal. No matter how this window turns out you can’t say they haven’t given their all to challenge city. I guess we are impressed as we are building u21 side similar to them 3 years ago.
  6. I cant wait for the downfall of Pep. I am tired of his continued success. It should happen at some point. Right? Right?
  7. I just saw that Mudryk has not played a single minute in the group stage games of euro u21. is he healthy? A bit worrying not to be able to break into that side.
  8. One month or so ago everyone was posting lists of 15-20 players we should move on. And the narrative was most of them were not possible to sell because of their high wages and our shit board. Now the unmovable players are sold for ok money and we start complaining about the quality of our squad. We can’t have it both ways. We will have a new manager and more or less half a new squad. Is this risky? Of course, but is freaking exciting. Let’s support the boys and march on!
  9. Tchou and Valverde links painfully remind me of De Jong last year. Hope I’m wrong.
  10. I think his personal life is the reason he wants to get out of London. Nevertheless leaving your club when times are hard is not the best characteristic for a player. Wish him a Van der Beek career. Bye cu*t 🙂
  11. I guess we need the money, money money. Hope we will spend them wisely. We must have a spine this time next year or we will be in a very tough position. Sooner or later a window will open when city are not at their best and we should be there.
  12. We don’t really want to mess with their transfers, if we are going for Caicedo do we
  13. If that. If you look at the squad that Boehly bought and the one starting this season. There will be no more than 5 players still here. This really is a fifa career mode
  14. If salary is close to 100 mil per season, he can find a new one lololo
  15. A loт of things re happening. Wages would have been a massive problem, if not for the Saudis. I hope we will complete all incoming transfers by the 4th of July. Or at least most of them. Loan outs will probably be dragged on to the end of the window, but the sales should be completed ASAP.
  16. He does not want to play for us and honor the contract he signed. He stated that publicly. With actions like this he can not expect anything from us.
  17. I guess we will not wait for the new kit for announcements then. Pretty sh*t one for Nkunku, but lets hope he is the beast we need on the pitch!
  18. They are mainly targeting Muslim players. It will be a lot easier to accommodate them in a country with very strict religious rules. Money does not really matter when your life becomes so difficult. The non Muslim ones are big name players with nowhere to go. Pretty standard targets for a league with a lot of money and bad rep.
  19. The big issue with Inter is that we do not really want any of their players. Barella is the only great player there, considering age and he is not too keen leaving Italy. On top of that Enzo, Caicedo and Barella are too similar and none of them can be on the bench. It will be hard to shift Lukaku, but there is more than enough work to be done by the board this summer. I guess he will be on stand by until preseason.
  20. 16.9 million pounds in annual salary is pretty expensive to make a statement.
  21. He will have his chance in the starting 11. If he preforms, he will keep it. That is the best offer a 20 year old could get at a top club. If he rates himself as one of the best in the world, he should love to have the chance to prove it.
  22. Real Madrid wanting him and Havertz being poor makes no sense. He is 24, German, and has a cl winning goal to his name. In La liga he will be a lot stronger physically. They can pay up or f*ck off, same for united with Mount. Both players can prove useful to Poch. And this BS he doesn't want to be here. What will he do? Stop playing and destroy his career? If the team wins, magically all players playing are extremely happy - that is life. Anyone here happy at his job every day??
  23. In my book we have only twelve players certain to be part of the first team next season: - GK - ? -Defenders - Fofana, Silva, Badiashille, James, Gusto, Chilwell, Cucurella - Midfielders - Enzo - Attackers - Sterling, Madueke, Mudryk, Nkunku Absolute madness 😲
  24. To be fair that is almost a club record for them. My guess is they are trying to show Colwill they want him more than us and turn his head.
  25. We MUST get the right players in. Even if we get only 2-3 players, they have to be starters. We will have a lot less games and no world cup this time around, we need a tight group. If we mess up this window there is a good possibility we finish between 7-9 and our stature is heavily damaged. Last time we had such a bad season we won the league the following one and swept it under the rug, but with so many new faces around the club mediocrity can easily become the norm.
