  1. Oi!! whats occurring? I got Iggy sending me links for trainer sites too. Tho can never have too many pairs of trainers! I'll stick to my DCs and adidas ta very much! Old fave Stockholms New summer 2019 Busenitz - just have to wait for a Size 15s to come in that the shop workers dont nick to sell on evilbay! And New summer 2019 DCs Maybe I can ask Roman to find me some =(
  2. Nah - thats just what they deserve! Or maybe do that first then go in with the psychology stuff.
  3. Hope it tasted better the 2nd time mate! Answering on from the conversation on the Pogba thread about Emenalo 11D may very well be right in everything he said other than that he seems not to have understood the very narrow point I have been making. I said he may be right, but in fact I think he is overly critical of ME. I think he simplifies the areas of responsibilities and seems to me to blame ME for everything he, 11D, did not agree with. I don't believe we fans have enough information to be so definitive in apportioning blame. The same goes for the criticism people now level at Marina. They have not the first clue what her real responsibilities and parameters are, yet they comment as if they know all of that, and have read her brief from the board and the owner as well. Whether what I say in this paragraph is right or wrong, it has nothing to do with the original point. I'll take your advice here and post anything else I want to say on ME/MG in the right thread. I have to admit I was really down on Emenalo and put him down as the biggest problem we had in the transfer market. I thought he was more interested in promoting ME and being the center of attention, steering it onto him and away from the manager. But then he buggered orft and we was still shite in the transfer market I realized it went far deeper than him. I think I would prefer to go into the transfer market and get a DOF right now and swap aut Granny.,
  4. Bit steep that valuation maybe. Almost as bad as Granny turning down the £60mill for Willian cause she wanted £65!
  5. Why? I'm disappointed in him. I and I'm sure all of us really wanted to see him here becoming best in his position. But he looked totally lost in a couple of games under Conte and it seemed to get into his head and not been right ever since. If we could go back he might have been better off with another year on loan but it seemed he was ready and up for the chance. Same with Happy. We either loan him to Barca or sell him with a buy back clause in hopes.
  6. Its not the board thread but I think you'tre both right. I would put in a DOF with experience of doing deals at top level. Someone thats been in charge of a large scouting group and has contacts around Europe. But I would also bring in and hire as many of our old guard as possible. Make good use of them. Make them scouts, ambassadors, coaches, big brothers, etc etc Utilize our assets.
  7. To be a GOOD manager tho you need a degree in Psychology just as much as football tactics etc. You cant motivate every player with the hairdryer treatment. Some may respond great and want to prove you wrong. Some need a arm round them and their heads patting and told it will all be OK. Others need their arses kissed with smoke blown up it and told they're the best thing since sliced bread. Egos are very brittle. Yeah as the top of their game millionaire professionals they should be good enough to motivate themselves but they're tender likkle lambs bless their hearts!!
  8. But his figures beat Asensio with much less minutes. More goals & asists. I like him and apparently so does Pep.
  9. I really dont know where there is for Mou to go. He needs to be somewhere the team has no problems of winning owt and players that will worship him cause we know if their face doesn't fit they have no chance. What I'm worried about is who takes over? They will of course get a nice kitty to play with - Which Conte would appreciate. And tho ZZ has never had to rebuild he worries me. The thing that interests me is who Perez will sign come the summer? If the reports that came out at the start of the season are right Poch accepted the job but somehow Levy stood in the way. I hope he manages to make it this time. Take the King Edward potato head Kane with him. Weaken Spuds up no end.
  10. We have been saying this about him since the 1st day he made it into the 1st team tho! He is now 22. Not old but how much longer are we going to have to wait? I must admit Ive never taken to him. Always thought he looked lanky and gangley. He reminds me of Bambi on ice. But I thought OK. Give the lad his chance. See how the loan works out. It should do him good. But hes only stepped up once or twice this season from all Ive seen. He was a disappointment IMO against Vidi. It was the perfect chance for him (and Barkley) to stand up and make a mark. But watching the Wolves game today I think him and Cescy were the only two trying. I'm afraid the main reason I'd keep him is for his HG tag. But yes at a push why not stick him as a CF to try hm out. I had such high hopes for all 3. Kova,RLC,Barkley and still so want them each to be excellent (it would save is alot of grief, time & money). But I would bring in a new ACM as one of the 5 spots I'd like to upgrade.
  11. I reckon we should go for him. I hope that Solari hates him and doesn't give him a minute! Problem is that Shitty are already talking to him Our board is so slow!
  12. Yeah just read this in a dif write up. Seems like Magic Box likes him.
  13. Yep worth a try/ Never know until we do. Byt I do think Mou staying was a big help for us in a few ways.
  14. He MIGHT be playing him because of only have Emerson as the only alternative and not have faith in him. Which is a shame as I'm sure many of us were thinking the same that he looked to be something good last season and was going to be something good! But seems that he has started to come good now and his potential coming good. Lets hope eh/
  15. Paul Pogba takes cryptic swipe at Jose Mourinho minutes after Man Utd sacking…. before deleting tweet https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/8005901/paul-pogba-makes-cryptic-dig-at-jose-mourinho-man-utd-boss-sacked/ I bet theres some happy Manure players right now! And thinking twice about leaving.
  16. Well I'll go to our house!! I'm shocked! Jose Mourinho: Manchester United sack manager https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46603018 Mourinho's record at United Manager Games played Won Drawn Lost Goals for Goals against Win % Jose Mourinho 144 84 32 28 243 117 58.33% Alex Ferguson 1,500 895 338 267 2,769 1,365 59.67% David Moyes 51 27 9 15 86 54 52.94% Louis van Gaal 103 54 25 24 158 98 52.43% Lets just hope they dont get someone who knows what they are doing! IF ZZ goes there I can see him wanting Eden - wouldn't like to see him as a Manc. Hated seeing Lamps in that Shitty washed out blue/
  17. No ta. And not a cat in hells chance even if WE did want him He will be joining up with CR7.
  18. Ive known the guy since the 70s so it just took a phone call. He kinda is the price guide for rare soul. He buys peeps collections - gives about 1/4 face value!! I used to sit in the pub in Leicester down the road from his sjop. See a guy with boxes of records and tell him Id offer him more than he offered! It worked quite well lol I was speeding one night and we were chatting and I told him what I had done a few times. He wasn't chuffed lol But its a buyers market and hes a rich, tight cunt! Mate I try every season to not get into the deep stuff. The politics, the transfers etc. But it drags me back in. But it happens I suppose when you're passionate about something.
  19. I think of myself as a very loyal supporter I hope. I was one of the only ones who had Willians back over the last couple of years (tho I would like to see the back of him now) But effort doesn'p necessarily mean good neither. What I've always thought Alonso brought to the table was his offense He is/was a big help when he went up field. But c'mon you must admit that his work as a defender just doesn't come up to scratch. And being behind Eden who also offers little defense wise doesn't help matters. And take away what he offers us going forward then what is there left? A free kick here n there. I like the guy, He seems like a good bloke. I don't hate what he does as he CAN do some good work. But that just isn't enough for us at the moment. As for my comment about us all seeing the same things but with lots of different views - thats what forums are all about and I like that. Ive had my opinions on something then Ive read, taken it in, digested it and talked about it and my opinion has been changed. I love when that happens. Thats what having an open mind is about. We cant get irritated when someone doesn't have the same opinion as ourself. Just as long as nobody tries to convince me into liking anything about north London! Everything else is carefree!
  20. A lot of up n down will he wont he ober him isn't there? Seems to me that he's not really wanting to leave Manure but more about not seeing eye to eye with Mou and the eternal 'I wamt to play more' rant. I do understand that any player with ambition want to play as much as possible but when you are in a big squad thats not always possible so you have to realize it, become as good as you can possibly get, stay as fit as you can then take the most of the chances you get to show the manager you are on your game. We have a few that should think this way too. Apart from blinkin Waterboy!! My gob is still so smacked thinking we are paying him £100k a week. Obviously no ambition and happy to sit back and watch his bank ballance go up! Lucky sod! But if we shift him - Bakayoko £110k,Morata £120k,Willian £120k,Cahill £130k,Cescy £160k,Bats £90k,Moses£80k,Alonso £90k,Kennedy £25kBapa £25k & Chuck in the rest of the loan army and put the money towards some fresh blood.
  21. Eden Hazard was the talk of the Brighton dressing room after defeat to Chelsea, says Leon Balogun Brighton's players were so impressed with Eden Hazard's performance against them on Sunday that the squad were left admiring the "unbelievable" forward after their 2-1 loss to Chelsea at the Amex Stadium. https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/chelsea/eden-hazard-was-the-talk-of-the-brighton-dressing-room-after-defeat-to-chelsea-says-leon-balogun-a4019591.html
  22. Nah not my thing, I got 2 dodgy feet by the way. My left is a 13 and my right is a size 15! Broke it 20 or so years back and bones didnt mesh right. So i either get 2 pars of whatever or stuff a sock in the left one lol Don;t limp or owt - just a pain finding good old trainers! Nowt at all to do with the board tho so appy polly loggies. Will now shut up!
  23. I dunno mate - got my mother in law to get me a party pack of Xmas booze and food stuff to give to a mate for a Xmas prezzie. But cant see my right foot in a Jimmy Choo tho! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
  24. But theres times I get really good stuff from guys down the pub too! And these posh shops can get away with selling dodgy knockoffs because nobody expects them to have hokey gear. Saying that I just paid £510 for a old 45 from the biggest dealer in England only to look at it and realize its a bootleg!! Grrrr Grrrr
