I understand it if people might think I'm being a bit of an ageist right now but Id really like this Conte program to be players that can be together gelling, getting better and winning for years to come. Keep feeding with academy and buying top replacements as and when needed. But we gotta startt off right. I know 30/31 means complete/experienced but we can also get that from younger players.

Oscar when hes awake is kinda the perfect Conte player. What hes good at (again - when hes awake) is running round like a Jack Russell and top third defence. He played better in Austria than most of all last year. I'm for giving the old boy a 2nd chance and seeing what Conte does with him.

But isn't that the same with most managers/players? We call them every name under the sum till theres a chance they come to us. This lad very quickly became one of my fave players. Hes full of every quality Chesea is known to have. I know hes not getting 100% training but just imagine the extra training hes getting/giving himself in other aspects. His cardio will be thru the roof. I'm not being nasty but dont you think that could be said about the majority of Belgian payers? They all walk round with races like a slapped arse.
