Aye. Tho hes made some team selections that make me shudder hes got one of those characters that make you at least feel its all gonna be ok. Hes not like Mou who puts you on the edge of your chair and want to chin someone.But I'm not sure Id like him as a perm manager cause I think it needs someone more dynamic with a strong character. IMHO of course

I know we are limited and hes done ok there but Kennedy isnt a LB so why not play him in his proper position and lets see how he goes. Babas just going to stagnate and get feeling worse and worse. Been looking forward to seeing Traore/Costa I hope Pato gets some time.

Oscar has had moments of genius too. Theyre just few and far between. But when hes ON I do love his energy and commitment. Its just not enough to keep him around IMHO

No doubting we have some very good youths but its such a big risk in sticking them in the 1st team. They need breaking in gradually like we were doing with Happy. Our kids have run riot over their leagues but theyre playing teams that dont share the same training/management/facilities as our do so they have an advantage straight away. Over tha past X years its been similar. Our kids have dominated. So presumeably each year we have had very good individuals in each team. Im a big believer in that players GENERALLY find their level of standrd/skill and play to it. And its normally just lucj they get time in the PL.. So IF one of the lads was really good he might not get picked for our 1st team but by rights he would attract scouts from every big club throughout the world so he should be playing for one IF he really was that good yeah? I cant think of many that are doing it can you? Its OK bringing the odd one up gradually but Id much rather buy a player thats proven himself to perform at a high level. We are bringing RLC up now but to me Im sorry but hes not met the hype hes been given. Hes been given chances that hes just not made the most of.we would have been far better off with him loaned out getting weeky experience IMHO. I dont know what the answer is. In a perfect world we would use the accademy as our feeders or have a B team which would be great. But the worlds far from perfect eh/

I know this wont be popular but .... Theres no denying that like Oscar, Eden shows signs of pure genius AT TIMES. But me I would try to get as money much as we could out of him IF the right replacement could be talked into joining us. This will be even hared this year with no Europe (SO FAR) Eden has never been a big goal scorer or assister. Add that to not being the best travking back/defending Add that to pissing me off with this ego and chin scraping the ground moping about really doesnt help. If he was just to try more and fire a few more on goal now n then Id say good on him. Pretty similar with Oscar too I'm afraid. We need a proper number 10.

Id stick Baba AND Miazga in and drop Cahil And tho I do think RLC doesn't deserve all the hype as he hasn't made the most of his chances Id stick him Matic in. But Id get Traore & Kennedy on for Eden/Willian ASAP Tibo Dave/Miazga/Iva/Baba Matic/RLC Willian/Cescy/Eden Pato

Ive not seen any reports saying Paots not playing tonight - yet! We really dont know just why we have been told hes 'not fit' all this time. Theres been occasions when Id certainly have risked playing him (unfit or not) than lads that we had playing. So Guus must either not think hes upto much or the lads knackered. Me Im still really open minded about him and just like Bertan/Kennedy Id like to see each get a fair crack of the whip.

With all these 'links' with Pjanic lets hope hes not had some long chats with our old mate Salah eh!

Have to disagree with that. I doubt Roman and the board not did some careful consideration before making any decision for manager appointments. We set the standard so high for any manager, hence we have no problem pay mega bucks for manager release clause or terminating their contract with huge compensation when they couldn't fulfill the job. Yes, not all manager chosen do wonders, but we're certainly not playing with manager appointment, just because 'he is the only one available, let's hire him' factor. I think we're the last club to be considered doing that. Yes, of course Conte's time at Juve come as a consideration to decide his appointment here. The problem we have as I see it in General is we have lost our way. We have lost our character and identity. So instead of getting managers to suit us we are getting managers and we are adapting to them. So it doesn't really matter what manager we get as long as hes strong and commited to winning.

I love the guy I really do. Love his spirit and determination. And IF we could bring him on purely for set pieces then Id say play him till he falls apart. But unfortunately hes just not got the legs and speed we need (Same with Cahill I'm afraid).

Its a shame cause he was one of those players I was excited about us getting. But he was a shambles. Whether he just couldnt adapt to us or England who knows.. Its not always easy swapping clubs let alone countries. But I really hope these reports of him coming back arent right.

Thats what I was thinking. Specially having read somewhere that Roman was SUPPOSEDLY in Spain last week to meet Simeone. Whether Simeones been offered the job and hes playing hard to get and Contes now said put up or shut up. Ill say it again - It would be sods law to miss out on both and we get the revolving managers door again. Then Simeone will take over at that North London Club next year.

I dont mind if we are just going to get them for a couple of years,run them into the ground then sell them to China and not lose owt but we already got 3 defenders on their last legs we should be looking at upgrading IMHO. IF Conte is going to come using his 3-5-2 then Baba/Dave I suppose will be wingbacks and JT the CD as Happy will be out for ages. We would have Eden / (Matic or Mikel) / Cescy / ? / Willian. But Edens no good at tracking back defending so Id like to change him. And we would need somene else with Cescy and I presume Matic OR Mikel. Cescys great when hes given time and space so its important we give it to him. And whether we buy someone else up front with Costa or go with Traore or Pep ???? No matter what happens I can see whoever comes in will have a bloomin good clean out and i can see a few lads on their way out. Intersting times a comin'!
