  1. Its truely amazing the difference in last year and now. It surely cant only be N'Golo leaving. Its not very often that a team outside the top 4/6 come near the top so its got to be down to the TEAM as a whole. From the manager down. When a teams spirit/confidence is high it brings with it luck. Where a player can take shots and its hitting wood or going wide or going straight to keeper then it finds net instead. Just like Costa yesterday. IF he was 'on' then he woulda put 2 more goals in. I feel sorry for Ranieri. Last year he was the man of the moment and now the fave for next manager to be sacked. We was lucky that we didn't implode quite as much as Leicester have. And we were lucky to have found a manager thats found a way to turn us around. I hope we keep our change going. And I hope Leicester finds some way to stay up.Theres no doubt Ranieri will find work. If Fat Sam can ..........
  2. I think like alot of our players Eden gives his moments of pure genius inbetween spells of nothingness. What we have to decide is whether we are happy to carry on with him cause has its been mentioned hes been similar since joining and is PROBABLY at his best right now unless he has a change of attitude. But as this coment states he cant shoulder all the blame for those spells of nothingness. Yesterday (and many games) we have been relying on these long booted upfield balls in their general direction. We are severely lacking any proper creativity either in defence or central midfield thats able to take the ball with him or get the ball forward precisely enough to any of the top 3 lads. Alot of our passing, specially yesterday, has been sad. And I get so fed up of sideways and backward passes. When Cescy is given the time and space hes the only creativity we have got. He picked out a few great passes yesterday. I understand that SOMETIMES its part of the wider gameplan tempting their players forrwards so we can get more space for us on the break, but we was playing so fast and smooth with keeping posession a couple of months back so I dont understand whats changed.. I know that we cant imagine to make a challenge in Europe unless we upgrade a couple of starting positions and I cant see anyone we have come in and it make much difference. And on a sidenote our defence yesterday was shite!
  3. The problems someone like me has who generally is only watching the PL is I only have reports, media posts, vids to go by about players. And each different one has their own views and opinions of them. And you dont know what their reasons are for giving their points of view. Whether theyre on the players agents payroll, working for OR against that players team - or whatever! So I rely on people, media outlets etc with no particular axe to grind and can give an anti biased viewpoint. It gets so fuckin frustrating when I read 1 report saying Meh!! and the next one says hes the next big thing! Know what I mean!
  4. Thats the only thing that worries me too. One of his weaknesses is arial duels but hes good at tackling. We need someone with his dribbling and ball playing skills badly tho.
  5. Ive lost count of the number of times hes been misunderstood. I understand Diego talking better than the way he acts!
  6. Ive never felt the lowest lows and highest highs over such a short time ever. But it was a night I'll always remember, Ended up leaving some dodgy bar at 7 the next morning and decided to come home via the Dam. 14 of us got back to London 4 days later. In same clothes as we went in (plus all wearing Gasmasks we found in some shop) smelling like a Dutch brothel in a weed grow room! But it was my mates stag week so we gave him a good send off.
  7. He really is as daft as a brush eh! Its why I love him.
  8. Ive got no fuckin idea why everyone thinks Joey Bartons a wanker
  9. It goes to show we need some upgrades and these lads need a big boot up the arse.
  10. Stats suggest Chelsea target Dahoud may not be the ideal recruit http://www.footballfancast.com/opinion-2/statistics/stats-suggest-chelsea-target-dahoud-may-not-be-the-ideal-recruit

  12. A good lineup tho I still want to try Chalobah with N'Golo. Peeps moaning about Bats and I do think hes hot the thin end of the stick its about the team. Conte said yesterday he didn't care if the playerts weren't happy as long as they won. Hes not playing them just to please them and give them time. Which is refreshing for a manager to own up and say it. We need to go out like we rule the fuckin world.
  13. Lets try again with what we learned about 'rotations' Noit what I'd play but what I think we will Eden - Diego - Willian Ake - Cescy - N'Golo - Moses Happy - JT - Dave
  14. Thats fuckin amazing isn't it! Theres no doubting our academy lads do great at that level. Under-18s report: Chelsea 13 Brighton 0 Charlie Brown bagged four despite only coming off the bench for the final half-hour, while Martell Taylor-Crossdale and Luke McCormick netted hat-tricks of their own. Conor Gallagher had opened the scoring after 15 minutes, while Cole Dasilva and Harvey St Clair also found the back of the net on an incredible morning for our youngsters. http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2017/02/under-18s-report--chelsea-v-brighton.html
  15. Being a big PL club who aspires to be prominent in league and Europe you just cant afford to gamble that often about academy kids in a world class enviroment. If we was hapoy to be and stay a mid table club with the only pressure is to not get relegated its far easier. You can take these chances. Thats why its good for us to loan to those types of clubs. They are getting their training and getting kicked round the park by men in the same league and we dont take the gambles. In a perfect world we would use the academy as backups and step up if/when necessary and take it permenantly when the 1st team player leaves. But its far from perfect. World class youngsters are rare as fuck and thats why you get such a comotrion and bidding frenzy when they pop their heads up. IF our academy players are as good as some say then they should be snapped up and getting regular play time at other teams of our level. But we are putting more into the squad`now. With 5 at present and presumeably more comings and goings pre season. Im afraid tho in 99% of cases I would buy in..
  16. Maybe hes just bought the house to be near his buddy? Another 30 year old we are linked with.
  17. Dunno if I'm on my own or I'm just a sad git but even after all these years of being disapointed when we dont/cant get the standard of player we deserve it still hurts to have to settle for an also ran. But all I know about this guy is what Ive read up about him since being linked to us So I will accept all your opinions who know him far more than me. Going by them he dont sound half bad.
  18. I think we played the whole RLC thing completely wrong. We hyped him to the hilt making him out to be the begining of our future coming from the academy, we pushed him at all the press coverage we could find and paid him far too much money for a kid thats as useful to us as Bambi on ice skates. The follow on to this has now given our other non used 1st team academy kids seemingly the right to withold his signature on a new contract till he also gets his £60k a week. But IF Conte insists this kids staying with us (maybe purely for HG status cause we are desperatly short) then I hope this is right. MAYBE we shall see today eh Chelsea ace opens up on training and relationship with Blues striker RUBEN LOFTUS-CHEEK believes his link-up play with his Chelsea team-mates is improving. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/589419/Chelsea-News-Ruben-Loftus-Cheek-Michy-Batshuayi-Didier-Drogba-FA-Cup-Wolves-CFC

  20. Chelsea Chasing Midfield Maestro With Stats to Match Lampard French newspaper L’Equipe is today reporting that Monaco starlet Thomas Lemar is currently Chelsea’s top target, and is stalling on signing a new contract with the Ligue 1 leaders in order to keep his options open. https://www.kickoff.co.uk/75654/chelsea-chasing-midfield-maestro-with-stats-to-match-lampard/
