I love the guy. He seems to see alot of things thru very young eyes which is great. This totally did his heead in. You can see him and the lads are getting on well together and are relaxed. Yes I agree but theres times that we need to look to our best players to step up and take the lead and theres been quite a few times lately where we cant do that with Eden or Diego. And this goes to a big reason why 2 of our our front 3 are left out of the game alot. We do seem to use the right side thru Moses to get the ball up front. Pedro goes outside of him taking a defender and theres ony 2 defenders in the box IF his cross gets thru But as you say I would hope that the lack of any real creativity will be sorted. Totally agree with this tho not sell any of the above IF poss, but I think its very important to add Cahill upgrade We severely lack any creativity in our CBs apart from Luiz and I really cant see either Ake nor Andreas making any major difference. Luiz is our only CB thats got any comfort on the ball and I would like to see him take it out more instead of the big kick. We also lack anyone back there that gets any real air which is another problem. Bonnucci would be great. Even at his age hes still got a good 3 or 5 years being pushed hard and we would get our money back plus some from China more than likely, But Cahill needs upgrading ASAP. Unless of course we could just use him for corners and set pieces.

Theres been many months that Matic was hailed by everyone as the best DM in the league and he couldn't do anything wrong. We know he lacks any real technical quality creative wise and his passing backwards and not being able to take the ball with him does wind me up but has he changed so much or are we looking at him differently? I dont see Cescy and Kante on their own strong enough defensively but in a 3 man CM he would get the time/space he needs for his magic passes. Or do we see Chalobah as any alternative right now? Hes quite creative and defensive. I would like us to try that option more. Or as Conte lseems he likes to build a break from the back and get it up to the WB maybe utilize Luiz into a deep pocket playmaker/CB. Hes comfortable on the ball and can do more creative wise than boot it upfield trying to find a forward. Just questions I ask myself when we play.

Sign would be nice at times maybe We know the 3 4 3 isn't engraved in stone and it gets fluid but similar in a game but if we/he sees that what we are doing just isn't working then you would expect a change to happen formatio/player wise yes? Maybe its because we just lack the options and depth we need for any real changes to happen?

Pretty much how I see him too. Theres no doubting hes a good player but seems like an out n out old style No 10. It would be good to use him as a deep pocket playmaker but he doesn't seem to be defensively minded for what we need. In this modern game that even strikers and AMs have to be aware of defending and not stand around waiting to get the ball passed to them again. Where I think we went wrong with Mou was he drilled defence first so strongly into al the lads they had forgotten what their 1st job was if you understand. Conte has told them to defend yes but when your chance comes you go for that goal. I dont know what the normal length of contract is thats given to new PL managers but you could imagine that Roman was a bit dubious about hiring anybody after the season we had with arguaby one of the best in the world. And while I dont think its necessary to have the 1 year extension with the lack of comitment anyone has towards a contract nowadays its more like Conte is being told thank you, you've done a crackin job so far and we trust you. We all know we dont have the finished job teamwise. We need a few top class upgrades in the starting 11, but we have a good spirit most of the time and commitment to improve. So with some new signings I can only see us getting better.
