What do you think pairing him with N'Golo would be like? Would they be hard enough defensively?

Thats exactly how I see both him and Moses. They both do a very adequate job for us and and I really hope they both stay to both push and fight for a place and give much needed backup. They would continue to be relevant

Well in most things if I cock up and do summet similar to that I call myself a twat then make sure I try to make up for it. Our lads always look like theyre having fun in training. Like the other day Luiz smacking JT in the crown jewels, and that normally means you got a good team. But Id like to see more of that when they come out onto the pitch. You can yell with like Eden and Cescy if theyre going to have a goodun cause their characters show straight out. Eden comes on doing his boogie looking like hes got invisible headphones on and Cescy is really pumped up slapping everyone. Now if we could bottle that or find out what gets Diego buzzin then we would make a fortune!

Yeah you're right tho I dont think so about N'Golo. I think he will only get better. Most times I watch us I'm lucky enough to see them live home or away and /I think I watch it live with a different mindset than on the telly where I do tend to be more critical. Whereas at the ground I try hard not to be critical as it just goes to spoiling a good day out. I wait till I come here to whine bitch and moan when necessary haha

When he joined us I couldn't have been happier. He seemed to be just what we needed and looked to be a upgrade on Willian and a proper ballance at last to Eden. But I was so disapointed that he just didn't seem to have anything in him at all worth shouting about. And TBH I'd got to the stage where I wondered if he was some sort of clone! But hats off to the lad hes changed my mind about him totally. Hes got amazing spirit and he seems to love playing for us which is something a few of the others would do. I always had this image of him as a happy,funny always smilling guy. Not that thats bad but sometimes you just think when does it become serious to him. But guys I tell ya - his facial features change when hes on his game. He kinda channels a demonic Freddy Mercury character. Love that sort of passion. But I still think we could get better and hopefully Pedro can stay pushing away and giving us great depth. Tho Ive still not forgiven him for this!

Its very hard for me to get my head round that 2 seasons ago we was praising him being the best DM going and now I'm finding it difficult to understand his thinking sometime. Whether his nose has been put out of place with N'Golo joining and getting all the praise or he just needs a different kind of setup/formation/partner? I really dont know. I really like the lad and chatted with him a short time but theres no room for sentiment in team selection and I personally wouldn't gamble on him next season and hopefully we can find a better option.

I'm exactly the same mate Look guys I kinda agree with most of you and I can understand all the reasons given to choose any of our new CB choices. But for those of us who want Andreas/Happy/Ake are you selecting them purely because of their youth and history with us? And for those who would like van Dijk/Bonucci etc etc is it because you want a new shiny expensive player? My problem is I'm a typical Libran and unless a choice is obvious I cant make my mind up. and it sometimes does my head in. My question to you all is given that your choice might just change the way our next 2 or 3 seasons goes are you willing to gamble that with your choice? Whats putting me off Andreas is he sounds like some spoiled diva who has had his ego stroked and everyones blowing smoke up his arse. He thinks we owe him a regular starting spot and you just know he will squeem and squeem till he gets his way. Thats not how a team player sounds to me. We dont hear that Cescy has held his breath till he gets a starting spot Ive always loved Happy and there was nothing I'd have loved to see more than pairing him with Varane. But I see this injury is still affecting him as it would and I really dont know about the lad now. So me if I had to risk our next 2 or 3 seasons on a Cahill replacement (which I guess is what we are looking at) I would go with a complete,ried and tested guy like Bonucci. Yes I would also more than likely keep Andreas and hope that Conte can get into his head and give him the experience/time so when we have had Bonuccis last years and sold him to China for a profit then we got Andreas all sorted in place.

We get loadsa 'what ifs' every week that just coulda changed the whole game/season. Bloody Paeson last week deny that obvious handball penalty, players on both sides always missing open goals or hitting wood. I give the guy his dues WHEN he deserves them. which is more fewer than often,but IMHO he doesn't offer us enough to keep him as a regular starter. If we could just bring him on for offensive fset pieces then off again Id keep him (and same with Iva)
