I wasn't his biggest fan before he went on loan. I always thought he was a clumsy, awkward lad with the grace of Bambi on Ice. I was at a loss as to what peeps saw in him But he was young at the time so it was put down to growing pains. Hes 22 now. should have all his basics sorted. But I was open minded and hoped that the loan to Palace was what he needed. And you would expect a good player at a mediocre club would stand out and shine. And peeps say he had a great season!! But I cant see 2 goals and 3 assists a good season myself. I'm sorry but i think its time we tried to make as much money on him as poss. And who knows. Maybe enter a buyback clause in just in case.

Ive always wanted us to go more down the US football route, Having special teams come out for certain plays then piss off back the the bench. Bring Cahill and Happy out for set pieces so their heads would make great targets. Its the only way i see either in a Sarri side I'm sad to say. Well sad about Happy anywho!

I can see what the reasoning is to give Eden the band - to see if making him an 'authoritative figure' will make him more consistent. I'm up for trying it bt he really doesn't have that mentality, character as the wes says, Dave is a natural leader, He can boss the defensive side all day long without needing an armband like Cahill did. I dont mind Jorgi taking the deputy spot at all. As he is the center of all the plays its a natural choice.

Bulka has surprised me tbh And Ampadu I really hope has a long future with us but just not sure if hes ready yet. You know I get your points lads but at the same time we cant have it both our own way. On one hand we want to start utilizing our ex players. Benifit from their knowledge, how they understand Chelsea. Hes worked with him for a solid season so I would have hoped he had an understanding of how good/bad he was. But we will only listen to him when we all agree. Which that day will never come as we can't agree on a single player lol The reason I would say no more than others would be we are in a tough predicament RIGHT NOW that we cant afford to take gambles on lads that are 'too young, too old, with potential'!! What we need are 'complete proven' starters to upgrade current players. IF we wanted him as backup then I'd listen to why JT rec'd him then decide.
