I am sure the club is looking at someone that can fill Matic's boots. A scenario where Matic is suspended and suddenly Newcastle beat us is just not good. We rely heavily on Matic. Mikel is ver bad despite his goal

Neuer wins this.

Adel Taarabat from QPR. That fat guy according to Uncle Ary
-
He was immense. Him and Oscar are hitting form right on time. Poor Schurrle...
-
Yep. I was wrong. Thanks for that

I thought Brazil played in Austria?? Ramires is OK.
-
Yes. But IMO, Galatasaray were just poor. Playing with 3 at the back. They changed their formation in the second half and suddenly started causing a few problems.

UEFA Youth League report: Sporting Lisbon 0 Chelsea 5NEWS 23 hours Our Under-19 side secured an excellent result in Lisbon on Tuesday as they defeated Sporting 5-0 in the UEFA Youth League to make it two wins from two in Group G. A Charlie Colkett penalty and a strike from Charly Musonda inside the opening seven minutes set Adi Viveash's side on the way to victory, before confident close-range finishes from Tammy Abraham and Dominic Solanke gave the Blues a commanding half-time lead. Abraham then netted his second a minute after the restart and the visitors worked hard in the remainder of the game to hold on to a clean sheet and another three points. TEAM NEWSThere were four first-year scholars and a schoolboy in Adi Viveash's starting side, three of whom featured at the back. Under-16 goalkeeper Jared Thompson began between the sticks, with Jay Dasilva and Fikayo Tomori at left-back and right-back respectively. Ola Aina and Andreas Christensen partnered in central defence, with Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Charlie Colkett in the central midfield areas. Charly Musonda, Tammy Abraham and captain Izzy Brown supported striker Dominic Solanke in attack. FIRST HALFThe Blues began on the front foot and had a perfect start inside two minutes as Solanke anticipated the heavy touch of Pedro Silva in the Sporting goal and cleverly got himself in between the goalkeeper and the ball before being upended. Colkett stepped up from 12 yards and dispatched with confidence. The positive start continued for the visitors and they quickly doubled their advantage four minutes later. Colkett won possession in midfield and shifted it quickly to Musonda, who arrowed a brilliant effort beyond Silva and into the corner of the goal. Jose Correia fired over for the hosts as they briefly enjoyed some possession in the visitors' half and Thompson was forced into some aerial action defending a couple of set-pieces. However, two Chelsea goals in a few minutes midway through the half soon put them into a commanding position. Colkett produced a brilliant turn in tight space in the box to escape the defender and then delivered an inviting low centre that Abraham gladly tucked home from close range (pictured below). Then a quick attack saw Loftus-Cheek release Abraham down the right flank and his driven low cross was converted at the back post by Solanke. The young Blues were content to manage the game more carefully as the interval approached and, despite the loss of their captain Brown with a slight knock, went in at half-time in a very positive shape. SECOND HALFThere was an even shorter wait for a goal at the start of the second period as Abraham grabbed his second of the afternoon and the Blues' fifth as he finished a quick attack with a great bending effort into the far corner a minute after the restart. That set the tone for another half that the visitors controlled, with substitute Wakefield and Loftus-Cheek shooting narrowly over, though concentration was still needed in defence and those at the back duly delivered in the final half an hour. Substitute Jake Clarke-Salter made a string of interceptions after being introduced and the midfield pair of Colkett and Loftus-Cheek worked hard to cover space in front. Wakefield and Alex Kiwomya were unfortunate not to add further opportunities from out wide, however the damage had already been done and Viveash was able to celebrate his birthday with a satisfying victory. Next up for the Academy is a trip to Norwich City this Saturday 4 October for the Under-18s. Francesc and Francisco.

No bad atmosphere whatsoever. Cesc and Costa are 3 months old at Chelsea, while Eden has been here for quite sometime. With his performances, I can understand why the club thinks he is worth the reported 200k. Time will come when Costa's wages will be increased.
-
Now its time to dish out 500K per week on CR7 and we are set.

Just to add on that, they are so broke. Infact they could be running bankrupt. They have no funds to run their team, let alone sponsoring us. If we get some bucket loads of money from REDBULL, it could be awesome. -

or maybe Roman has some hidden agenda: -
Well, EMIRATES is never a tough place to go. But Anfield YES.
-
maybe we should sell the ones on the bench so that no one sits on it...........
-
Loved this from the pundits at MNF: It will be hard to beat Chelsea and City this season. But just what if suddenly Costa and Cesc get injured? Back to same old Chelsea with Mikel and Ramires??
-
Thats why we question why they had to bring Drogba in.
-
We desperately need another striker. Even Arsenal have Sanogo for God´s sake
-
Well, just a comparison with City. This season will be tough.
-
its friday.
-
maybe Mikel is not rated

and I think the most defining factor in his loan move to Athletico is that, actually before we landed Courtois, Atletico were the front runners for his signature. But you know the way it is. Whenever chelsea shows an interest in a player, his mind goes AWOL. Chelsea vs Atheltico, I know who I will choose. (no disrespect to Athletico)
