ROMA DATE SCHEDULED IN WASHINGTON DC Chelsea Football Club is pleased to announce we will play AS Roma in Washington DC on 10 August to complete our pre-season fixture list. We will face Rudi Garcia's Serie A side at the RFK Stadium next month following our participation in the inaugural Guinness International Champions Cup, which will see us play three matches, prior to beginning the 2013/14 Barclays Premier League season. Kick-off will be at 8pm local time with tickets available to local Chelsea supporters' clubs from Thursday 18 July at 10am local time. They will go on general sale from Saturday 20 July at 10am local time through Ticketmaster. Prices start at $38. The match will also be screened live on Chelsea TV. Chelsea FC Chief Executive Ron Gourlay said: "We are delighted to be able to play a fourth game in America following on from the International Champions Cup. Roma will provide us with excellent competition as we complete our preparations for what promises to be an exciting season for Chelsea Football Club." The two sides have met in the USA before, during Jose Mourinho's first summer as Chelsea manager in 2004, with the Blues running out 3-0 winners in Pittsburgh. We last played Roma, who finished sixth in Serie A last season, during the 2008/09 Champions League group stage, and also eliminated the Italian side from the 1965/66 Fairs Cup http://www.chelseafc.com/chelsea-article/article/3244059

Oriol Romeu has today (Friday) joined Valencia on a season-long loan. The midfielder has appeared 33 times, scoring once, for the Blues. He is a Spanish Under-21 international and also played at last summer's Olympic Games. Romeu, 21, made nine appearances for Chelsea last season, but missed the second half of the campaign due to injury. In his first season, following his switch from Barcelona in the summer of 2011, Romeu had appeared more regularly, earning a run of 12 consecutive matches over the Christmas and New Year period. We wish Oriol well in his homeland, and you will be able to keep up with his progress here on the official Chelsea website. SOURCE: chelseafc.com

Brazilian passport holder can enter Thailand without a Visa. A 30 day visa is issued upon arrival.

Ahh Ok. that sounds ridiculous. Those prices are way too high.

Well, those are 12/13 kits. I see no problem with that because De Bruyne wore them in preseason and had the 14 at the back. The 13/14 kits have Schurrle as number 14.

Well, that is the controversy surrounding his contract. Sporting believe his contract ends next summer, but Bruma's representative (Lawyer) claims it ends on 31st july 2013. The whole saga might go to FIFA unless the situation is resolved amicably. Apparently, there is to be a meeting between the two parties, but Sporting WANT Bruma to be present at the meeting. In the meantime, Porto are also monitoring the situation and are ready to pounce whenever an apportunity arises.... the saga continues

What WHAT? I am referring to the Portuguese Bruma from Sporting. not the Dutch Bruma we just sold to PSV

After MvG, it was said that we will be adding 2 - 3 more players. So with Mark, it comes down to 1 - 2 players. I guess its a CM (De Rossi) and probably Bruma (to be sent straight on loan)

No effect on their transfers. The article on Eurosport says Leonardo will quit his post after the transfer window has closed.
