We may well have been... It's incredibly hard to deal with so many players not playing to standard and only bit part subs available to the manager. To have 9 of your starting 11 to be dreadful for the first 7 or 8 games is not easy to deal with - I don't think this is appreciated enough, imo.

Ok perspective from the stands today: Best performance of the season easily, with only 2 black marks in that Oscar and Fabregas were terrible - the rest of the team today were impressive IMO. Considering City lost 4-1 at home to them and we should have won, yeah I bloody well will take the point. Also 2,000 of us outsang the whole stadium today so that's another positive - the place is a fucking library!

Afaik at the end of the day imo Ivan Azpi is probably the most balanced set of fullbacks we could play and I lay money they will both play next sunday.

Mostly agree but Fabregas, Matic, Pasalic midfield is solid enough and Fabregas is a formidable midfielder in his good six months. We brought Pasalic to be the next Frank Lampard in 13/14 I believe. I hope to see Christensen replace Iva next season, young, excellent ball control, good defender - he will be ready after his borussia loan. Griezmann, Teixeira in Oscar/Mikel, Falcao out In the summer bring back Christensen aka Stones Mk 2 back as well as Pasalic "Lampard's Heir" - I believe the future is brightening just a little. I'm still undecided on Baba, but Christensen should directly replace Brana next year. JT still has it in him imo - he is still essential to the defence. Especially if our backline has potentially 3 people under 22 (Christensen, Baba, Zouma)

I really don't understand the moaning, this is attacking football and Jose went all out, rightly, against a team that sat back and tried to play a 0-0. If Pep did this people around here would be giddy, obviously he will not deploy this against Tottenham but I would not be surprised to see him make a appearance against, say, Bournemouth. By the way, Jose's plan did work and he was excellent in that position.

Those that want Jose to play attacking football and/or want Pep to come here can have no complaints at Kenedy being at LB, he is attacking, has a hell of a left foot and brought in lots of width and overlapped with Hazard Brilliantly; against a team like Norwich Jose played it perfectly, he played possibly the most attacking lineup we can play. TLDR stop bitching
