I really do try to be positive when I can. Really I do. But it's so obvious that other teams are attacking his side right now. Dave is so good in 1v1 matchups why bother. Just swing it to Brana's side and make him deal with it.

His shooting is poor but I still like Willian in the side. Does so much work that doesn't show up on the stat sheet.

Eden is sleepwalking thru this game by his standards. And Cesc has all but disappeared...outside of a ball that literally bounced right to his feet. Zouma has been strong so far and Pedro is both extremely talented and hard working. Seems to be a great addition to the squad.

This is a turning point match. Tough to repeat as champions no doubt, especially with almost exactly the same team. Easy to get complacent when you waltzed to the trophy in previous year. We played with a thin squad last year and appeared to start the year with the same template. Sprinkle in 1pt thru two games, untouchable JT subbed and Pedro signing...all of a sudden everybody is on notice. Even Tibo nervously looking at Begovic performance against Citeh. Might be the best thing that could've happened to us. Then again maybe this means fuck all. If I'm a betting man we come out tomorrow with a strong performance.

I don't ask for much, I really don't...but please ship Cuadrado and some cash off for Pogba. Please.

Lads just aren't clicking yet. It's tough to defend a title, same players or not. A lot of the boys still look out of shape to be honest. Long way to go......
