Lot of pretty good performances today. That said, very weak competition. Nice to see all our domestic rivals lose, hope their groups continue to put them under pressure. Can only help us in the league.

First game and definitely needs time to grow into the team. But thought he seemed a bit shaky defensively against a poor side.

Feel like a lot of youngsters get in the game and play not to make a mistake. This kid was playing to make something happen. Like it.

I really do try to be positive when I can. Really I do. But it's so obvious that other teams are attacking his side right now. Dave is so good in 1v1 matchups why bother. Just swing it to Brana's side and make him deal with it.

His shooting is poor but I still like Willian in the side. Does so much work that doesn't show up on the stat sheet.

You can't take Eden off fellas...Jesus. But put Cesc (deservedly) in a tracksuit and that should resonate with the lads. Kenedy and RLC came out today with something to prove which was a good sign.

Eden is sleepwalking thru this game by his standards. And Cesc has all but disappeared...outside of a ball that literally bounced right to his feet. Zouma has been strong so far and Pedro is both extremely talented and hard working. Seems to be a great addition to the squad.
