Hazard was absolutely incredible tonight...like he was playing a different game than Maribor. Doesn't show up on the stat sheet but Willian's work ethic is truly appreciated. Guy is constantly buzzing all over the pitch.

^^^ Was thinking the same thing as soon as he chipped it into the penalty area. Fully expected them to run the rest of the time off, take their well deserved point and call it a day.

Lot of negativity around here it seems. Seems odd for a team that hasn't lost a match yet. If offered a draw before kickoff today I would've taken it. On the road against the defending champs? Give me the point. That said, it was a bit deflating to concede against 10 men at the end of the game. All in all hard to complain when looking at the current table.

Talk about blowing some chances to kill the game off. Cesc had an absolute gimme to go up 2-0. You could tell Jose was getting more and more uncomfortable with the score stuck at 1-0. Filipe Luis looked excellent in his first start, was very impressed. Remy needs to be our choice uptop when Diego is sitting. He's looked a decent threat in both opportunities so far. Matic doesn't look like he's found his stride yet this season. At the end of last year thought he was arguably playing as well as anyone on our side. A real force in the middle. And Ramires...for the love of God put a challenge in on that breakaway!

Whoever called it a rollercoaster hit the nail on the head. Just a very fun match to watch today, and obviously the 3 away points are great too. The more I see of Costa the more I like him. Just please please let him stay healthy for the long haul. He's got a special fire inside of him that can't be manufactured, just an intense competitor. His goalscoring has been apparent to everyone so far, but he's put three complete shifts in so far this year. Making runs up top and then tracking back as a defender too. I'm gonna be interested to see how Filipe Luis factors into plans this season. The current back four looks solid to me, Ivanovic off to a particularly strong start.

Greetings from South Carolina! Figured I'd pop in here and give a quick intro. Been following Chelsea for the last few years. This team and this sport has completely hooked me. How did I land on Chelsea? A few years back I asked a buddy (Liverpool fan) who his most disliked team was and he quickly replied Chelsea. I watched a few of their games, thought back to his response and my decision became very easy...been in a blue shirt ever since. My avatar is a screenshot of Jose celebrating after the win at Anfield last year. Stevie G's slip still puts a smile on my face. I actually got to watch that game with the buddy mentioned above, the first match we watched together all year after numerous text messages exchanged during the season. What a sweet day that was and figured I'd memoralize it with an avatar. And one quick story...so I have a small Chelsea sticker on my back windshield and I was driving down the highway late last year. I noticed a red Mini-Cooper in my rearview mirror for a few miles. Just minding my own business. After a while he gets into the lane next to me and pulls up next to me and starts aggressively giving me the finger. Both hands, both fingers. I'm a little confused at this point because nothing went on between us while driving. He then speeds up and gets in front of me. His license plate reads "Anf1eld" and he has no less than four other Scouser stickers on the back of his car. It now all makes complete sense. In case you were wondering at this point...my most disliked team is Liverpool. So I stumbled on this place while Googling CFC forums in hopes of finding tickets to a match. A friend said she'd join me in coming over for a game...but I'll post more about that in the appropriate forum section. Hope to stick around for a while and interact with more Chelsea fans. I think we're set up for one hell of a season. Cheers!
